Felix's POV
Cry had helped me put all my clothes away and set up my laptop and other recording equipment. I was grateful for the help. It would have taken much longer if Cry wasn't helping. We eventually finished. I put the suitcase and my laptop bag on the floor in the closet.
"Pewdie, did you have anything to eat before you got on the plane," Cry asked. I shook my head.
"No. I had to get up early for the flight," I said.
"Do you want something to eat," Cry asked.
"Considering I haven't eaten at all today..." I murmured, running a hand through my hair."Then I guess so," I said with a small smile. I glanced over at the brunette.
"What would you like?" He asked.
"I could literally eat anything right now," I joked. "But, really just a bagel or something is fine," I murmured. Cry shook his head slightly.
"Seriously Pewds? I know a bagel isn't going to fill you up if you haven't eaten anything today," Cry said. "Do you want me to order a pizza," he asked. I smiled slightly.
"That would be nice," I said."Pepporoni is fine," I said. Cry nodded.
"Okay," he said. He took out his phone and ordered it. He hung up and put his phone back in his pocket."It will be here in a half an hour," Cry said.
"Sounds good,"I said. I continued to look at Cry...well I continued looking at the eyes of his mask.
"Do you want to do something while we wait for the pizza," Cry asked.
"Sure. What did you have in mind," I asked curiously.
"We can play Portals for a while on the PlayStation downstairs," he said.
"Sure," I said with a small smile. I walked beside him as we walked downstairs. When we got downstairs Cry went over to the living room and set up the PlayStation3. I walked over to him. He handed me a controller. I sat down on the couch. Cry sat down beside me. He started the game.
We started playing the first co-op level. This game was already confusing, or maybe it was just me. I never was good with solving puzzles like these. After a while of us playing and failing horribly Cry turned to glance at me.
"Having fun yet Pewdie," he asked.
"Yeah," I said with a slight smirk. I made my character shoot a portal over the water. Cry was standing over the other portal so that made his character fall into the water and die.
"Fuck you Pewds," Cry said with a slight laugh. I let out a small laugh as well and set the controller down on the table in front of us.
"You ready to stop playing," Cry asked.
"Yeah," I said."Since we failed at it," I added with a slight smirk. Cry laughed and turned off the PlayStation and put everything away. I heard a knock on the door. I looked over at it. Cry walked over to the door and opened it. The guy that was delivering the pizza was standing outside. Cry took the pizza box and handed the guy a twenty dollar bill. The guy walked away and Cry closed the door behind him. He walked over to the kitchen and set the box down on the table. He looked over at me.
"Come on Pewds," Cry said. I walked over to the kitchen and stood beside the table. Cry opened a cupboard and grabbed two plates. He set them down on the table. I took out my phone and looked through it. I had twenty unread text messages from the same person. I ignored them and put the phone back in my pocket. Cry had his head turned in my direction, so I knew he was looking at me.
"So...um...How are you holding up since you and Marzia broke up," Cry asked. He sounded almost hesitant to ask,but at the same time he sounded concerned.
"Ah,well..." I didn't look directly at Cry. "Not too bad I guess. But not great either," I said quietly. "Better now that I'm here then when I was back in Brighton," I added, feeling my phone vibrate again. I ignored it, knowing who it was from. I couldn't bring myself to look at the texts right now. Cry was silent for a moment.
"I'm sorry Pewds. I shouldn't have asked," Cry murmured.
"I know Cry. I know," I murmured quietly. "Don't be sorry. This wasn't because of you," I added in a whisper and headed over to Cry. I put my arms around him gently. I wasn't sure if I was comforting Cry or myself. I sighed and closed me eyes, trying not to think of Marzia at all. Cry waited a moment before wrapping his arms around my back as well. He moved one hand up and down my back gently. I felt tears slowly filling up my eyes, but I blinked them back.
"Pewdie it's okay. If you have to cry, you can. I'm here for you," Cry whispered. I tried holding back the tears for as long as I could, but after a while I couldn't anymore. I sniffed and started shaking slightly. I blinked and felt tears start to run down my cheeks. I cried quietly in Cry's arms, feeling comforted enough to actually show any emotion since the situation.
Cry tightened his arms around me. He raised his hand and rested it on the back of my head. He began stroking my hair gently while keeping his other arm securely around my back. I choked out a sob, holding Cry a little tighter. I tried to say something, but gave up. Cry continued to run his hand through my hair.
"It's okay," Cry murmured soothingly."Everything is going to be okay...Felix," Cry whispered. I didn't care that he used my real name. It felt right in a strange way for him to. I sighed quietly and rested my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes, cutting off the rest of my tears.
"Thank you," I whispered, my voice scratchy and quiet. Cry stopped running his hand through my hair and rested it across my shoulders.
"You're welcome friend," he murmured. I took a moment before I hesitantly let go of Cry and pulled away.
"I'm sorry, it's just- I can't believe she did that, you know," I said quietly, letting out a small sigh. I could tell that Cry was looking at me.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. This wasn't your fault. If Marzia couldn't see that she had left the best thing in life, then that was a huge loss for her," Cry said.
"...That means a lot, Cry," I said, forcing a small smile on my face. Cry is a great friend, I thought.
"I'm glad I could help," Cry said. Cry hand me a plate. I took it and started getting a piece of pizza. I looked over at Cry. I smiled slightly. I knew Cry was always going to be there for me and I couldn't be more thankful for that.
