Back on deck, I followed Caspian and Edmund, while Lucy ventured off on her own.  I watched as she interacted with Reepicheep, who was perched on the front of the ship, before looking over the side and waving at mermaids.  I watched the mermaids and the waves for a few moments until I heard metal clashing and shouts.  I turned and watched as Edmund and Caspian were having a duel.  They had both taken off their jackets, so Edmund was just in a long-sleeved white shirt, while Caspian was in a long-sleeved purple-red shirt.

"So Edmund, you still think you got what it takes?" Caspian asked him.

"I was one the best swordsman in narnia and I will be as long as I'm around." He replied. " Plus I beat you once before I can do it again."

Caspian took his sword and pointed it towards Edmunds chest. I could clearly see the smirk on Edmunds face as he with-drew his sword. My eyes shone as Caspian dared him to take the first swing. The clanging on metal upon metal sounded through out the ship along with the cheers of crew members as Caspian and Edmund fought. Caspian's feet landing in the perfect place every time he moved steadying himself for the next swing. Hi foot work was always the best part of his sword skills. I knew that because we fought so many times.

Caspian swung at Edmund, but he ducked, avoiding the blow.  Caspian swung again, but Edmund blocked, spinning and slicing at Caspian as well, who moved backwards.  They continued slashing at each other, blocking and dodging.  I smiled at them, watching their every movements.  I studied their footwork, and their arm positions. I looked at Caspian, then over to Edmund, just in time to see him glance at me.

My face flushed red. They clashed swords again, and Edmund sliced at Caspian, who ducked again.  I watched my friend in pride.  They clashed swords twice, Caspian spinning around and moving his sword.  I could barely keep up.  When they stopped, they each had their swords resting on the other's throat.  Everyone cheered as Caspian laughed.
They brought their swords down as Caspian placed his free hand on Edmund's shoulder.

"You've grown stronger, my friend."  He complimented, a big smile on his face.
"Seems I have."  Edmund agreed.  I stepped forward.

"Good job, boys.  Maybe next time I can show you how it's done."  I teased as Caspian laughed.

"You wish."

"First of all I beat you earlier and second I bet I could beat you at archery too."  I told him.  It was then Edmund noticed that i didn't have my bow on me.  I had a sword strapped to my waist instead.

"Alright everyone!  Back to work!"  Drinian yelled.  Everyone scattered while me, Edmund, and Caspian remained there.

"Were is your bow, Diana?"  Edmund inquired, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Below deck."  I answered.  "There's not much use for it out here, unless you want a bird or a fish to eat.  I still use it, but I've grown better with a sword, and like I said, I really only use it when I want to get some practice in, or we want dinner served."  I explained.

"Practice?"  Edmund asked.  I pointed up at the top of the mast.  Edmund shielded his eyes with his hand and looked to the top of the mast, where a bunch of arrows were dug into the wood.

"I see."

Edmund was suddenly handed a cup of water.
"Oh, thank you."  He said, taking the cup and walking over to Lucy, who was seated on a barrel.

"Edmund do you think if we keep sailing to the end of the world we'll just.. tip off the edge?" Lucy asked Edmund.

"Don't worry Lu, we're a long way from there." He answered. I the. Saw the trapped door bellow deck raise. The screaming boy or Eustace i think his name was coming out of it.
