"What do you thinks in there?" Lucy asked

"Our worse fears." I replied squeezing Edmunds hand a little tighter.

"Our darkest desires." Caspian added.

"Your evil." The captain commented walking past me towards the minatour."Thermos unlock the armoury."

"My lord" The minatour replied before making his way down the steps to the lower deck.

"Archers prepare yourselves." The captain shouted

"Light the lanterns" The minatour added

"Lets get ready." Caspian spoke towards me, Edmund and Lucy.

I followed Edmund down to the lower quarters where both our armours laid. My armour was easy to put on, it was lighter than the amour I had worn in the battle between the telamaries. My bracers were the easiest part of my armour to put on protecting my arms from any arrows you may need to shot.

"Diana" Edmund spoke drawing my attention from the chest plate that I was putting on to him. "If we don't make it through... this, I want you to know that I enjoyed my time in Narnia with you"

"Me too, some of the best adventures I had." I smiled, trying to push the ache and worry in your heart away. "And who would have thought that through it all, I fell in love with the Just King." I laughed.

"This just king, also seemed to fall in love with a certain queen, if i remember correctly." I could feel the blush creeping over my face as I looked upon Edmund.

"Edmund... what will happen to us once this adventure is over?"

"Diana..." My eyes gently pressed themselves shut as Edmund cupped my face. "I don't know" He admitted. "We'll figure it out, but one thing is for sure, I'm not losing you."

I smiled softly, but my worries kept eating me alive. He leaned in and gave me a soft kiss before parting.

"No matter what happens here, every soul has earned their place as the crew of the Dawn Treader." Caspian spoke from the top deck.

"Together we have travelled far, together we have faced diversity, together we can do it again." I looked towards Edmund who gave me a small nodded to which I replied with a smile. I was going to be strong, I was going to get through this, another battle that us two would win together. "So now is not the time to fall to temptations, be strong. Never give in. Our world, our Narnia lives depend on it. Think of the lost souls were here to save. Think of Aslan. Think of Narnia."

"FOR NARNIA." The crew cheered, courage running throw their veins from the speech that their king had just given.

The mist grew even thicker as we enter the island, wrapping itself around the boat, whispering in sailors ears.

"Go away your dead." Edmund spoke eyeing the fog around him.

"Edmund?..." "I looked at him, he was talking to thin air. His expression turned into pure fear, I have never seen him like that ever. Well then again, all in all the time that I knew him, we've spent more time apart than together. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, just the mist playing games on me" he responded, I nodded not really reassured from his response.

"KEEP AWAY... KEEP AWAY." A voice shouted from within the mist.

"Who's there?" Edmund asked placing an arm around my waist, helping my nervous to settle a little more.

"We don't fear you" I added.
