I quickly walk over to Edmund. "Ed... Ed wake up." I spoke nudging, the sleeping boy. He only replied with a groan. "Come up Ed get up!"
"5 more minutes." He replied with a groan as he turned the other way.
"Edmund, Lucy's gone!" I said this time nudging him harder.
"Cas get up!" I turned to Caspian gently kicking his foot. Caspian quickly got to his feet as he saw the worry on my face, closely followed by Edmund.
"I think somethings took her." I point to the foot steps surrounding Lucy's bed as my eye trail the prints trying to figure out which way they left.
"LUCY... LUCY!" Edmund shouts, his peaceful sleeping face now also replaced with worry for his sister.
"Quickly everyone up" Caspian spoke as he walked around the campsite shaking all the sleeping crew members from the slumber.
My eyes still trailed the sand as crew members began to rise from their beds. That's when I spotted it not to far away from the tree a footprint leading deeper into the island.
"This way... quickly." I spoke grabbing my sword,as I ran into the island, not even stopping to attach it to my belt.
The deeper into the strange island I got the less it began to look like an island and the more it started to look like... a garden. Rich freshly cut grass spread over the ground and bushes trimmed into all different shaped covered the nearby areas. With every step I took the more tidier the garden seemed to be come. The sun still hadn't completely rose yet and only seem to graze the beauty of the place. As much as I wanted to stop and admire the bizarre place, I knew I had to continue looking for Lucy.
"Lucy's dagger!" Edmund spoke picking her dagger up from the edge of a bush nearby.
As I looked up thats when you saw it spear's gliding silently throw the air heading straight in your direction.
"EVERYONE DUCK!" i shouted, causing sailors to quickly shield themselves.
My hand reacted before I could think, drawing my sword from my sheath; my eyes scanning every bush, plant, tree anywhere were someone may be hiding.
"Stop right there or perish." A deep voice spoke from in front of me, causing me to jump, as my breath caught in my throat. A force ripping my sword out of my hand before hitting me in the face causing me to be sent flying to the ground. I could see sailors waving their swords or spinning around looking for the enemy, only to have their weapons ripped away from them as well, before also being shoved to the ground. How were we meant to fight an enemy that we couldn't see. It didn't take long for us to be weapon less with our own swords point straight at our heads.
"What creatures are you?" I asked curious to know, in my whole life I had yet to meet a creature that was invisible.
The deep voice pierced the air again as it spoke.
"Big ones, with the head of a tiger and the body of a ... umm."
"Different tiger." Another voice finishing the first voice's sentence when he couldn't. Many other voices spoke soon after replying with a yeah.
I watch my sword that was still pointed towards me as the air around it seemed to rip, then slowly form some kind of outline of a creature.
"You don't want to mess with us." The voice continued.
"Or what?" Edmund asked.
"Or i'll claw you to death." One spoke. It was now the creature seemed to become brighter slowly revealing its true form.
"I'll run my tusk's through you." Another commented.
There in front of us stood a small creature almost dwarf like, however unlike a dwarf this one seemed to have one leg attached to its body and its foot was about size of it as well.
