𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥 [𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘦 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘭]

Teresa Agnes does not do public speaking. Yet here she is. Teresa Agnes does not make speeches. But here she is.

She takes a deep breath, straightening her hair, adjusting her blouse, and stepping out to face the crowd.

"Hello, all. Thank you for being here today."

She's not exactly sure why Ava Paige is having her make this specific speech, but she is.

She supposes it's to make wicked look good, or at least, slightly better. Though she's not sure what good it'll do, at this point. Most employees have run away, or died trying.

Thomas is still around, but she knows it's only to keep an eye on his sister.

"It is a filthy world we live in."

That catches the crowd's attention.

"It all started when I was born. At that age, I probably didn't know much, but as a kid, I knew everything was fine. Pushing a stroller all day,  being fed, lying in bed at night with dozens of stuffed animals around, what more could you want?"

"Life as a child was wonderful, I had nothing to worry about, everything was made for me. Unfortunately, it only lasted so long and all I realized was that growing up in this big world hasn't gotten any easier."

"Social… Society is at its peak and waiting for you to  play. Look how we live in the world today. One of the largest countries in the world is at war with other countries abroad."

"What image does this leave for the public? America is waging its deepest war against these best killer fascists who want power and more power. We live in one of the freest countries where we don't have to worry about anything like education and health care, but now we have to worry about  people who are persecuting at all. this world."

"Terrorism and murder for no  reason are simply disgusting and I, perhaps millions more, cannot find myself enduring this much longer. Seeing all these people have been killed and all the families  destroyed makes me conclude that these people have no respect, no humanity, no heart, nothing at all. These people are cruel to me."

"This raw world caused my view of the world to change over time. Here are some of my opinions that I always have  and  never change: First, let's look at honesty. I tell the truth because lying is not fun."

"I don't even consider people who are not honest with me. If a person cannot tell the truth, that person is not respected. In other words, I don't respect people who don't respect me. Another important thing that I believe in is chivalry."

"All men must always be gallant and must always treat this woman with respect. Women are important because of their ability to bear children. We live in a cruel world. Terrible cold. I have never seen so many dishonest, selfish and greedy people. They are willing to use others until they get exactly what they want. What makes things worse, after getting what they want, they come back and demand more."

"Unfortunately, people don't have  empathy for others. They are like leeches and will suck your blood  until you have nothing left. 

We live in a world full of hatred and deception. Many of us just sit there and ignore what's going on around us."

"What if, even for a day, we actually stopped to look? How many lives can be saved? How many people no longer feel lonely? We are all familiar with kids who sit alone at lunch or kids who never have friends in class. Some of us have gone to the point of automatically excluding these kids, “the weirdos” and the “losers.” We even begin to justify ignoring them."

"They like to be alone anyway. They can change if they want. That's not my problem. .They're just weirdos, they like it. We've all said one of these things at one time or another. I'm not saying I've never said these things because I know I have, perhaps dozens of times."

"The question is why. It's easy to walk up to someone and just say hello or tell them they're handsome. So why not us? For me? I'm scared. Now I tell myself this  and it sounds ridiculous. This is certainly unreasonable or even not really justifiable."

"Most of the reasons we use are not. However, we can think of many reasons whenever we want, many reasons not to talk to someone. What will people think? What if they get offended? Perhaps I won't be of any help."

"We let these excuses and reassurances creep into our minds so that we feel better about  doing nothing. I'm not trying to sound like a hypocrite; most of the time I write this for myself, putting things  into perspective and reminding myself  what I think about it. These are  things I haven't even mastered yet; or even barely achieved."

"I speak from experience and I hope I will remind others as well. Means easy. On the other hand, being kind… can be the hardest thing in the world."

"Since childhood, we have been subjected to many stereotypes like these. Boys do not cry. Girls must be pretty. We are constantly exposed to a multitude of normalized sexism. Like "girls run like girls". It means we can't run."

"From childhood, we  all have burdens to carry. Boys and girls, men and women. Like the social burdens of oppression, the humiliation of being “poor,” or “fat,” or “straight” or “colored.” I  heard a woman with a perfect body call herself fat."

"And a rather rich bourgeois considers himself poor. Because it doesn't match a particular dress and he can't afford the luxury car he wants. We live in a society where several powerful systems of oppression are at play - class, race, imperialism. Gender inequality is also part of it. People of all genders, colors and backgrounds are victims. And sure, some more than others."

"The world must change, and we are all part of that. We cannot live within this filthy world any longer."

Hi!! I know this was definitely a boring chapter for some of y'all, but I wanted to incorporate real world problems into this, because it does need to change.
