Josuke mashed the controller buttons under his fingers as he focused on the screen in front of him, a sharp knock on the door making him jump, fumbling the controller and losing the game.
"No! Kakyoin! I thought Cerise was here? The door made me lose the gameeee!" Josuke whined.
Kakyoin chuckled as he walked to the door, "actually, my sister is moving in with us," he said before opening the door.
"Geez, what's all the whining about?" Asked a teenage girl as she stepped inside the house, a duffle bag hanging on her shoulder.
"Ha! That's Josuke, he's a gaming buddy," Kakyoin explained before pulling his sister into a tight hug, "I missed you!"
"I missed you too," the girl sighed.
Josuke cleared his throat, watching the two in silence before speaking up, "so this is your sister Kakyoin?"
"And you must be Josuke," the girl said, stepping into the living room, "what's with the hair?"
"What?" Josuke asked, a bit of anger tainting his voice as he rose from the couch.
"Your hair, I hate to break it to you but the 90s called and they want their hair back," the girl said, glaring up at Josuke.
Josuke seethed with anger, clenching his fists.
"Ok! Fall back!" Kakyoin exclaimed, pulling his sister back by her shoulders, "Josuke, this is my little sister Yumiko. Yumiko, this is my friend Josuke. You're the same age, so I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe, you two can get along."
Yumiko rolled her eyes and Josuke mumbled under his breath before they both spoke up, "never!"
Kakyoin sighed.
"Oh mon amour! You didn't tell me Yumiko would be here so early!" A pale woman with black wavy hair squealed as she ran into the living room, hugging Yumiko tightly.
"Hi Cerise," Yumiko said, softly smiling.
"Come on! We have so much to catch up on!" Cerise giggled, pulling her sister-in-law into the kitchen.

Josuke panted as he pulled himself up to the handlebars above him over and over, sweat dripping down his face.
A glimpse of a long red and wavy ponytail out of the corner of his eye took him by surprise, almost letting go of the bars.
"What are you doing here?" He hissed, looking Yumiko in the eyes.
"It's a gym? I'm working out, what else would I be doing?" Yumiko asked, looking back at him.
Josuke's eyes snapped over to a group of girls their age, ogling him as they stretched, talking amongst themselves and giggling.
"Ha! No way! I'd never be one of your groupies," Yumiko said, rolling her eyes before walking over to the group of girls, Josuke going back to his work out as Yumiko attempted to introduce herself to the girls, who stuck their noses up at her, rolling their own eyes and ignoring her.
She sighed before walking off to do her own workout.
By herself.
A few days later, Tomoko sent Josuke out of the house to get groceries.
"But mom, it's the last week of summer! Why should I run your errands?" Josuke whined.
Tomoko responded by smacking him upside the head, "because I'm your mom and because it's the last week of school I'm busy at the school!"
