"What?"
Yumiko lay on the grass, looking up at Okuyasu.
Okuyasu sat beside her and laid on his back as well, looking up at the sky.
"On Friday, after you left I thought about some things more, like Hiroko. I thought she seemed familiar so I tried to go as far back as I could in my memory. The thing is, she was obsessed with Josuke when we were freshman, but more from afar," Okuyasu explained, "I was confused why she'd suddenly be so close to him so I followed them around and took some pictures and look at this."
Okuyasu handed Yumiko a packet of developed photos and she opened it, seeing pictures of Hiroko and Josuke around Morioh, a thick cloud of smoke floating around them.
"What is it?" Yumiko asked, looking deep into the photo.
"I think it might be a stand, and it's one of the types of stands you said could be our possible enemy," Okuyasu replied.
Yumiko sighed.
"They wouldn't believe me," she said, handing him back the pictures, "I can't even see the stands, remember? Why would they believe me?"
Okuyasu bolted up and glared at Yumiko.
"Why would they believe you? Why wouldn't they believe you? You might not be able to see stands but they can!" Okuyasu exclaimed, "you're like a sister to me Yumiko, so I'm gonna do whatever it takes to get you out of the dog house!"
"So then what's the plan? They can see stands but they apparently can't see this one, so what the hell is going on?""This is my theory, they're under control of the smoke stand," Okuyasu replied.
Yumiko thought for a moment, considering the possibilities before she spoke up once more, "then what's going on with you?"
"I'm sick! I can't smell anything! And that leads to the second part of my theory; the stand is more of a scent base, Josuke always says that Hiroko has this aroma around her, like heavy perfume, but Yukako says it smells like cigarette smoke, I think it might be different depending on your identity," Okuyasu added.
"So then why doesn't it work on me?"
"Probably because you don't have a stand, most stand attacks don't exactly work on stand-less people," Okuyasu explained, "we just need to figure out how to help the others….""It's simple science really," said Cerise as she stepped down from the front porch, "or rather simple protocol."
Cerise brought the two inside and sat down at the kitchen table.
"When you're stuck in a fire what’s something you’re suggested to do?” Cerise asked.
"Leave?" Okuyasu asked.
"Well, yes, but another thing is to soak a cloth and put it over your mouth and nose to prevent smoke from entering your lungs," Cerise said, "so, if it's a smoke stand you're dealing with, you'll want to stop it from controlling you in any way possible."

Yumiko looked at the disgruntled teens in front of her as they stood under a tree on a large hill at the edge of town, hidden from any unwanted eyes.
"Why the hell would you drag us all the way out here Yumiko?" Yukako grumbled.
"Because, Hiroko is bullshitting you all," Yumiko hissed.
Josuke rolled his eyes, "Yumiko, are you sure you aren't just jealous that you missed your chance?"
Yumiko cocked a pierced eyebrow at Josuke, a questioning look on her face as her eyes bore into his.
