"Hello?" Yumiko asked, opening the front door.

"Yellow? Well that's no way to greet your father Josuke," an elderly man mumbled as he teetered into the house, his cane banging against the floor with a toddler following behind him.

Yumiko simply stared out the door blankly, before calling out, "Josuke! There's a strange man in the house!"

"There's a strange mouse? Where?" The senior said, looking around the floor.

"Mr. Joestar?" Josuke asked, walking into the hallway, "what are you doing here?"

"I've got a property to sell, now I need you to watch your sister for me while I'm out," the older man said, "just make sure she doesn't disappear."

"Disappear?" Yumiko mumbled, looking down at the little girl that approached her with a bright smile on her face before turning completely invisible, "oh my god!"

"You've got a very pretty wife Josuke," the older man chuckled, "but why wasn't I invited to the wedding?"

"Joseph, I'm not married, I'm graduating highschool…" Josuke sighed.

"You'll always be cool to me son," Joseph said, patting Josuke's shoulder, "I'll pick Shizuka up."

Josuke sighed as Joseph left the house, Yumiko shutting the door behind him.

"Ok, who was that?" She asked, looking at Josuke with a raised eyebrow, the invisible toddler wrapped around her leg, "and who is this?"

Josuke sighed once more and pried Shizuka off of her leg, trying his best to pick her up.

"This is my little sister Shizuka, and that," he said with a sorrowful tone as he pointed towards the door, "was my father, Joseph Joestar…"

"As in real estate mogul Joseph Joestar?" Yumiko asked.

Josuke groaned, "yeah, that one…"

"Well," Yumiko grunted, taking Shizuka from Josuke, "looks like we've got a task for the day!"

Yumiko grinned as she sat Shizuka on her hip, beaming when Shizuka became visible again.

"There's that pretty face," Yumiko said, tickling Shizuka's sides, making her squeal with laughter.

Josuke winced as Yumiko wrapped a new bandage around his arm.

"You're wrapping it too tight!" He groaned.

"I'm wrapping it the same way I always do," Yumiko retorted.

He sat on the closed toilet lid, his tank top hanging off of him as he slouched forward.

Little hands pushed the door from ajar to open, turning Yumiko's attention to the toddler in the doorway.

"Hey, what's up Shizuka?" Josuke asked, looking at his sister.

"I wanna go to the park!" She exclaimed proudly.

"The park huh?" Yumiko chuckled, "what do you think, big guy?"

Josuke rolled his eyes, "yeah sure, come on kid."

Yumiko and Josuke brought Shizuka out of the bathroom and helped dress her for the outdoors.

Once the last velcro strap on her shoes were secured and her sun hat was put on her head, the three walked out the door, putting Shizuka in the stroller Joseph had left behind for her, and beginning to push her down the sidewalk towards the local park.

"Y'know for a toddler she's pretty well behaved," Yumiko said, her and Josuke sitting on a bench, watching Shizuka run around the park.

"That's Suzie's work, my stepmom, she's a lovely lady but a real tough parent," Josuke chuckled.

"She's adorable Josuke, how can you be related to her?" Yumiko teased.

"It's because I'm not," Josuke simply replied, "we just found her when she was a baby."

"You're kidding," Yumiko said, "so Joseph adopted her?"

"Yup, and now I'm the outnumbered sibling," Josuke chuckled, "two sisters, one's my older half sister and the other is Shizuka. I'm the only boy."

Yumiko smiled softly, "well, think of it like this, maybe someday you'll have a son, and he'll have two sisters. Guess who he's going to look up to?"

Josuke smiled back at her, "I'm assuming me?"

"That's right, and even now Shizuka looks up to you too," Yumiko giggled, hearing Shizuka shouting from the playground.

"Josuke! Look at me spin!" She shouting, sitting in a twirling seat and spinning faster and faster.

"I guess she really does," Josuke said, smiling to himself.

"Oh and down she goes," Yumiko said, getting up from the bench and jogging over to Shizuka who was laying in the wood chips, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Josuke followed behind, reaching his little sister and picking her up off the ground.

"Hey kiddo," he said, soothing her while Yumiko picked pieces of wood out of Shizuka's pigtails.

"It hurt!" Shizuka cried.

"I know, how about we go home and get some bandaids, then we can eat lunch?" Josuke suggested.

"And a movie?" Shizuka asked, sniffling.

"And a movie," Josuke replied with a soft smile.

"She's asleep," Yumiko sighed, collapsing on the couch.

"I don't know how two senior citizens are able to raise her when we can't even catch up," Josuke chuckled, "but you'd make a good mom…"

Yumiko smiled, "me? A mom? Yeah right, when pigs fly," she said, rolling her eyes teasingly, "but you would be a really good dad."

Josuke chuckled once more, "I don't know if I'd be a good dad, if I do end up with a kid though, I'd hope I'm at least an adequate father."

"I'm sure you'll be fine," Yumiko smiled.

"Thanks Yu."

The two sat in silence, Yumiko leaning back with a small groan.

"You ok?" Josuke asked, looking at her.

"Yeah, just some back pain," Yumiko replied, "nothing serious."

"Well, want me to…rub your back…for you?" Josuke stammered.

Yumiko raised an eyebrow at him before she smiled and turned her back to him, "go ahead, what's the worst that could happen?"
