Second chance for Davis?

Chapter 4

It finally happened we are fighting rogues and hunters why they would work together, but then again maybe they are that pack from the highlands?. Our wolves all in formation, Payton stood out being so much taller than us. Matt had been training with us and was now hiding somewhere in the trees with his sniper rifle.

I was trying to stay around Payton and Jason along with Ryder who is head warrior, trying to take out any wolves or hunters that came for them, however at some point Payton and Jason got separated. The fighting all stopped as Payton just stared at a blonde women.
A guy shouted "we want the hell hound, we will let your Alpha go for the hell hound" he has a gun to Jason's head who was laying on the floor.
"How do we know your telling the truth" Aiden shouted "You don't" he said back
"What do you want with the hellhound?"
"That's not your business" the blonde said
I was looking at Ryder as if to say any ideas, he just shook his head No.
"Yes it is, he is family and we would be handing him over to you, who are probably going to hurt him then kill him" Aiden said making us wolves growl, the women flinched
"Lucy what do you want?" Payton said " What do you want?, it's been 10 years, what could you possibly want?" I'm not sure if anyone noticed but he was doing signs with his hands, I turned to look in the woods...Matt....
" we want you, no one will come near us when we have you in chains at our feet and doing our bidding" the guy laughed
"Did you have something to do with the accident?" Payton said to the women in a whisper ignoring the man, what accident?
"I'm so sorry Payton they weren't meant to die, the car was just meant to crash and then you and and" "don't say his name you have no right to say it" "they were going to kidnap you and train you to work for us" "with two or even just one hellhound we can destroy these abominations" the Hunter shouted opening his arms, his statement made all the wolves growl "what makes you think I would help you?" Payton was now standing right in front of the Blonde he was shaking so much "you are not my family, you never were" the Hunter tsked making him turn his head to look at him "we have him, we know he is your mate,and mates will do anything for each other" Payton looked at Jason "you would also know if you kill a wolf and he is mated, there other half usually dies as well, so you kill him and you kill me it might just take a little while" Payton said shrugging his shoulders he was now in front of the Hunter with his fist clenched trying to stop the shaking. "So who are you?" Payton said "I'm Lucy's husband, and the one who is going to own you, dog boy" this made my pack growl and you could see Echo trying to get out of Payton, this made the Hunter laugh and turn to Lucy, who looked a bit sad "aww come one darling, this was your idea, are you regretting it now, too BAD, grow up you knew it was going to end like this"

Payton made a hand signal as he shifted into Echo what stunned everyone was he was on fire, his fur was fire, then in one swift motion he bit the hunters head off as a bullet went flying through the air and hit Lucy in the shoulder. Someone grabbed Lucy and carried her off.
We made our way back to the packhouse Echo was still in flames, he finally shifted back hours later.

Myself, Jason, Payton and Ryder were in Jason's office. Jason explained that he spoke to Cain (one of the rogues that attacked the first time) and he knew nothing about the attack and was under the impression that Payton was still out the country. This gave me an uneasy feeling in my stomach, could someone from the pack have turned on us. Lucy who I found out was Payton's step sister was left in the cells once her shoulder was patched up. This last week after the attack has been strange Paris has been jumpy, continuously looking at her phone and disappearing a lot more than normal, also I have noticed Jason has been well, strange as well. I have tried to talk to Paris but she just shouts at me, so I'm going to try and get her phone.

I was on guard duty for Lucy's cell today, but I stopped by Alpha Jason's office first.  "Alpha" "Morning Davis, can you make sure that Lucy has had a shower and is in clean clothes, we will be down to see her in 2 hours but make sure she doesn't know" "Yes Alpha Jason" I then turned to leave and saw Payton "Alpha Payton" and closed the door leaving them to their conversation. As I walked to the cells I was wondering what was going to happen to Lucy today, we have given her food and clothing but other than that we have left her alone, she spent most of her time screaming to speak to Payton, who has refused every single time.
I was mind linked by Jason that they were ready for Lucy, I opened the cell and unlocked her chains round her legs and picked her up from her bed "you have been requested" I then pushed her to the door and followed her out, she started screaming "where are you taking me?" I didn't answer I just opened the door and pushed her in, closing the door behind me.  I was now on my lunch break so I was sitting in the kitchen eating when Alpha Jason sent out a message over our mind link "all blonde females please report to the training grounds now and face the woods so your back is to the pack house, thanks"

Paris is blonde, what the fuck..... I really hope she isn't involved. I really wanted to know what was going on, I think everyone did as people were finding windows to look out of, unfortunately or fortunately our room looked over the training grounds, I saw Lucy in chains surrounded by Ryder, Matt, Payton and Jason and every blonde women in a line facing the woods including Paris. I mind linked Paris "what have you done?" All I got in reply was "I'm so sorry". I couldn't hear what anyone was saying but you could see their mouths moving. They stared walking along the line of women, then they started to put their hair up in a ponytail, I saw Paris shake a bit. I thought I saw Lucy make a movement when she got to Paris but I wasn't 100% sure, they finished walking down the line and them everyone dispersed as if it never happened, I tried to mindlink Paris but she had blocked me, she was looking down at her feet.
Someone then tapped me on the shoulder making me jump. "Damn Ryder, don't scare me like that" "sorry Davis but I need Paris's phone and I need to check her stuff" he started going through her side table and found her phone then looked through her bag "why are you doing this?" "I'm sorry, just follow me" I sighed Trent was pacing in my head, "ok" I mumbled, I followed him back to the cells, has Paris really done something bad, could she really be the rat in our pack?.
