OCTOBER 30TH, 2022.

— She didn't expect the line to go dead, so she just stood there, at the very top of the long winding staircase, with a weak hand gripping her phone in her left hand, with her right one steadying her hand on the railing.

Lorraine took step after step down the stairwell, finding her legs grow weaker the further she went. Lorraine guessed it was at least one-hundred feet deep, which made her stomach do a flip. Her mind was in a non-stop panic and her heart was beating out of her chest the entire way down.

Lorraine finally caught side of the end of the staircase, and did a mental evaluation of what the fuck she was signing herself up for.

Last year, if she was told that she'd purposefully set herself up for dead, she would have laughed in their face, while doubling over and sighing.

Now, thinking about it, she can't really leave. She has to know who's in there, and what's going to happen when she does. If she doesn't, the curiosity is simply gonna eat at her.

Lorraine reached the last step, and was on the verge of panicking, She couldn't leave now. She has to see what's on the other side of the door.

Her phone starting ringing as she reached the last step, making her violently jerk. She sighed with relief as she realized it was just her phone. Then she panicked when she saw no caller ID, meaning it was him.

She answered it.

"I'm at the bottom of the staircase.. do I just.. open the door?" Lorraine questioned with a voice failing her as it wavers.

"The door is unlocked." is all he said as to her as he hung up, leaving her clutching the phone to her ear in a state of panic.

She put her phone in her back pocket of her jeans, slowly but surely reaching for the doors handle and turning it as slow as possible, trying not to make a loud noise.
She walked inside. Nobody was there. At least, nobody she could see, quite yet.

She looked over and saw a wall of pictures. Pictures of her, her mother, her sisters, her friends, her roommate, and even her teachers and classmates, with red lines connecting them all like a puzzle in crime solving movies.

She walked over to them and looked at them, noticing some she never knew were taken of her or ones she's never seen in her life, of when she was a child or in the past few years, by the looks of her.

She picked up a picture that she didn't remember ever seeing.

It was a picture of her in a mans arms. Not her fathers, but Billy's arms. Lorraine softly gasped as she looked at it closer.

She was wearing a princess shirt and a tutu. It looked to be halloween, and her and Billy were smiling while looking at each other. She also looked to be about three.

"Enjoying yourself?" a voice behind her said questioningly, making her violently jerk to see who spoke, to see none other than Billy Loomis behind her.

"I- I guess I am?" Lorraine said with a trace of hesitation, making Billy grin.

"No need to be hesitant. I'm not gonna hurt you, trust me. As long as you follow the rules I won't." he said with a frown and a shrug of shoulders, looking her straight in the eyes.

"What.. rules?" she said with a frown resembling his.

"Well.. no going against the plan." he said, then making her even more confused then she was beforehand, making her rub her temples and close her eyes in an attempt to soothe the panic building in her.

"What fucking plan?" she said with a small sarcastic smile and wide eyes, looking at him just for once, wanting to he told the truth.

"Look daughter, you're a psychopath like me. I know you know what I'm talking about. I've been watching you for a few years actually. I saw how casual you were last year when killing your best friend, Amber Freeman, was it?" Billy said with a wild grin, locking eyes with her.
