Chapter Ten: Hideout

NOVEMBER 6TH, 2022.

— It had been three days since act two, and Lorraine and Quinn were having the time of their life, annoying Billy as much as possible, while they stayed in the bottom part of the barn, having to stay there and go nowhere.

Lorraine really wanted to just go outside and actually look at the fucking sky, but she wasn't allowed to. Ethan stopped by at least twice a day to hang out with her, which made Billy wiggle his eyebrows at her, resulting in a slap on the arm, making him laugh loudly.

She just wanted to go outside is all. Maybe go to a CD shop and buy her favorite records so she had something to do in hers free time besides staring at a wall.

Billy, and Quinn were both still sleep at 6am, when Lorraine decided she was sneaking out to have some fun at the towns shops.
She zipped up her american eagle hoodie, put on her docs, and walked up the long winding staircase at a fast pace so she can get back there quickly before they wake up and realize she's been gone.

Lorraine walked around with her hood up, while walking into the pot shop, buying some more cigarettes and a brand new lighter, and paying for it with her fake ID with a different name.

Lorraine then walked across the street to the record shop, and bought "Did you know there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd" the album by Lana Del Rey. As she went to grab it, another hand caught it first.

"Oh- Hi.. sorry I didn't see you wanted this, here you can have it-" a brown skinned woman with deep brown eyes, and black hair said to her.

"I'm Odessa.. I'm here with my friend Vada, we were looking for more Lana albums here.. what's your favorite album?"

"I'm Lorraine- And I have two actually.. Born To Die or Normal Fucking Rockwell, yours?" Lorraine said with a smile, glad she's finally getting to interact with someone with the same interests as her.

"Lust For Life, or Normal Fucking Rockwell, 100%! You have great taste.." Odessa says with a grin, which Lorraine returns.

Odessa then drags her friend over to Lorraine, "Hi- I'm Vada." Vada said with a tug playing at her lips, resembling Lorraines.

If Lorraine wasn't dating Ethan, she would have the fucking time of her life with this girl Vada. Vada had beautiful tan skin, black hair, and brown eyes, with heavy eyeliner circling around her eyes.

"Hi! I'm Lorraine." she says with a smile playing at her lips, which they both resemble genuinely.

"Weird question- Can we have your number? This is like the first person we've met that has the same obsession with Lana-" Odessa says with a smirk.

"Oh of course- Here-" Lorraine hands her, her phone to Odessa, then Vada, both entering their numbers.

"Anyways- I have to go back now, but message me later yea?" Lorraine says with a smile aimed towards both of them.

"Will do!" Vada replies, stuffing her hands in her low-ride jean pockets.

Lorraine walked out of the store after paying for the album, and sneaks her way back into the barn, slowly making her way down the deep winding staircase.
As soon as she walks in, she can tell she was dead. Billy was up and watching tv, then as soon as she walked in, he looked towards the door and looked angry.

"Why the fuck would you leave?!" He said, getting up from the couch to walk towards her, with a scowl on his face.

"Do you expect me to stay here for weeks on end with no fucking sunlight? It's hot down here, we have no ac, and it's cold outside-" Lorraine said with a scowl resembling his.
