The Great Pokemon Adventure!

Chapter 4: The S.S Anne Lavender Town and Cleadon City part 1

The trip down south didn't long at all. Before long we were standing in front of a dock. A man was standing by the ferry and asked if I had tickets so I gave him the tickets and he looked them over then nodded giving them back. "Enjoy your stay on the S.S Anne" the voice speaker said as Charz jumped at least 3 feet in the air startled. I giggled and received a glare from Charz who wasn't impressed. We went about looking through the S.S Anne. Almost every room had trainers in them though one room healed my Pokemon. On the second floor after battling the last room and healing I rounded a corner. There were stairs and I heard voices. I blinked as I continued on.

"Haha yeah, he is just a seasick old man" a voice said and a growl came from Charz. I groaned, I knew who they were just by Charz's reaction. I turned around and started to walk away from the voices. "Hey Green isn't that Dragoon?" Shit I've been spotted. I sped up but a hand caught my arm. "Yep I'm right, hehe" Red grinned as I groaned again.

"What do you two want?" I barked. I was getting annoyed that they kept pursuing me. "Oh come on we don't bite" Red said playfully. I rolled my eyes. "What do you want?" I asked again. "Eh Green wont settle down til you agree to travel with us but I guess that you won't want to and then a battle will issue and you will win because you train your Pokemon more than us" Red sighed. "She said she wont go Green" Red called over his shoulder and Red was right, a battle followed. I won but Red gained a Pokemon A Poliwag he nicknamed Poli and his Bulbasaur evolved into an Ivysaur. Green's team changed too his Squirtle evolved into a Wartortle, his Abra evolved into a Kadabra and his Ratattata evolved into a Raticate. Remembering the myths about how his Raticate died after the battle in the S.S Annie I healed his Pokemon along with Red's. "By the way the captain of the ship is just a seasick old man" Green waved as he and Red left. I shrugged and continued on as Charz looked at me confused. "Don't worry that's the only nice thing I will do for them" I sighed as I patted Charz's head. We went up the stairs and was met with the most worst smell ever. I started to gag while Charz put both it's clawed hands over its nose and free dug his face into my hair. "Are you alright sir?" I asked to make sure the smell came from him. "Could you rub my back til I feel better" the man weakly gasped. I tried my best to rub his back til Charz joined in too. Together we rubbed his back til he said thank you.

We left the boat and continued on to the next destination which was back to Cerulean City by the look at the map. On our way down we got stopped by the guard at the gate surrounding Saffron City saying we couldn't go through. So like we did on our way down, we went through the underground passage way that led from Cerulean City and Vermilion City. We quickly got back to Cerulean City and went east. We ended up at a cave. We went inside to find it was very dark and had to use Charz's tail flame to get through the place.

We arrived at a town with a huge creepy tower in it. I asked around to get some info of the place but I didn't get much. We ran into a Cubone crying it's eyes out. "Cubone! Where are you?" A voice called out. I turned and waved the person over. "Cubone there you are," a woman said as she picked up the little brown Pokemon with a Pokemon's skull on its head and holding a bone. "Thank you for finding it" she said. "No problem. Uh do you know why this town is so gloomy?" I asked trying not to be rude. "The tower there is a graveyard" the woman said. "Team Rocket came and killed lots of Pokemon. This little one's mother protected it from the clutches of the mad men but ended up losing her life. Lots of the town's Pokemon were murdered in the incident so that's why the town is off putting" She looked saddened as she told me this. "I'm so sorry. I could never imagine what pain you people have been put through" I sighed. "Oh but if you want to know more I know a guy who could answer any question you ask about this town. His name is Mr. Fuji but he is not home right now he is praying for the lost Pokemon" she smiled and walked away. "Let's come back later then Charz" I said having a sinking feeling about the tower that loomed the city.

We headed west and came across another underground passage way. We went through it but even though there is another on leading south I couldn't find it anywhere so I just kept going. We arrived in Cleadon City around 10pm and we checked in a room at the Pokecenter for the night.

I got woke up by the heaviness of the combined weight of Charz and Free on my stomach. "Charz you are getting to big for this" I groaned as I rolled out of bed. We left and went to explore this big City. I first went in this office building only to be greeted by multiple Pokemon at once. This elderly woman called them off and I talked to her and she gave me some tea for the road. Next stop I went to the department store to get supplies. Around lunch we found a restaurant. I went inside and ordered the food Charz, Free and I wanted and spotted a man drinking alot of beer in the corner. I went over there to find out he was crying. "Why did I spent my life savings at that game corner?" he wailed. I sat down across from him and tried to calm him down. Charz and free arrived with the food and I told him to eat some of my food and have some water before he got too drunk. "You are way too kind miss" he said after he took one of my steaks (Luckily I have a big appetite). "No problem I only did what my gut told me" I lied. 'If I remember correctly he gives me something I need' I thought when I first saw him. "I don't think I have anything to repay you with. Ah! Wait I do! How about I give you this. It won't do me any more good since I'm broke" He wiped away whatever moisture on his face from his eyes with his arm and handed me a black box. "It's a Coin Case. If you want to try it there is a game corner near here. Be warned though they will cheat you out of your money" he said as he thanked me again for the food.

I left there with a Cheshire grin planted on my face and Charz just face palmed. "Give me an hour or two and we will have our next crew mate guys" I grinned looking down at the black box in my hands.
