Chapter 11: Start of Johto

(Hey guys! I'm back with a new chapter! In the Johto I decided to add a couple new character's to the main character's list. If you think you know their parents are comment your answer! Also Green stalked Dragoon to Johto dragging along Red. The rivals in this chapter will be Gold from adventures and Silver a.k.a rival from the games. Oh yeah I'm adding some real life difficulties to the story from now on but it will not mess up the story at all. So without further ado the newest chapter!)

I turned around once Charz was out of sight. I felt bad for him and I too wanted him at my side while traveling this region. I bumped into someone while I was deep in thought. I looked up to see who it was. It was a boy around the same age as me with flaming red hair that hung to the middle of his neck. He wore a red trench coat and some cargo pants. He was mumbling to himself until I bumped into him. "Hey watch it" he said and went back to muttering. I could make out some words about a hat. "Did someone take your hat?" I asked nervously. "Yeah how'd you know? Any ways that's not important right now. I think I know who has it. I'm Try. My real name is Trystan but I hate it so I just go by Try" he said handing out a hand as I took it. "I'm Dragoon. So who do you think has your hat?" I asked. "Come with me I have to meet up with him at the Pokemon lab" Try answered. I followed him to the lab. I spotted Silver outside of the Lab watching to steal a Pokemon. I took out the pokegear Green gave me and called Giovanni.

"Yeah spotted him he is in New Bark Town. Yeah, yeah. If you want to see your son get over here ASAP" I said. "Who were you talking to?" Try asked. "That kid's father" I said pointing to Silver with my thumb. I called Green and told him to send over Dactyl to Virdain city to pick up Giovanni. Around 20 minutes later Dactyl landed with Giovanni on his back. I went up to the red haired kid. He was about two years younger than me and wore a black sweater with white pants and his eyes were silver. "You are Silver right?" I asked as he looked at me with shock. "How do you know my name?" he asked. "Long story but I was told you were kidnapped by someone when you were 2 and your father has been looking frantically for you. He is waiting around here follow me" I said holding out a gentle hand which he took. I led him to where Dactyl, Try and Giovanni were waiting.

"This man here is your father. Yes he was the leader of Team Rocket but he set the team up to find you but he lost his morals but thanks to me he disbanded Team Rocket after I told him I knew were you were" I said as the shock on the boy's face grew. "Sil-Silver is that really you?" Giovanni asked starting to cry. There was a mental breakdown from both sides and hugs. "I will let you go on a Pokemon adventure only if you check in with Dragoon every now and again and you cant steal Pokemon" Giovanni said as he pointed at me. I gave Silver the pokegear's number and Giovanni said he will be waiting in Virdain City for Silver's return. "Don't forget to come back with Dragoon since she knows the way around Kanto. Thank you for lending me your Aerodactyl Dragoon" Giovanni said as he climbed back on Dactyl. "No prob. By the way what is in this egg you gave me? Dactyl you know the way back right?" I asked as I got a nod from Dactyl. "You will find out when it hatches. Bye see you later" Giovanni waved as Dactyl took off. I sighed and stretched.

"Well may as well go in the Lab and get your starter Silver" I said patting his back. Silver nodded and I led both Silver and Try in the Lab. Inside there were two boys. One had black shorts, a red hoodie, a black and yellow baseball hat that sat on messy black hair and golden eyes. My guess it was Gold. The other had a blue hoodie with black cargo pants and a blue baseball hat on backwards. "Dude give me back my hat now!" I froze at the name. "Fine here. You shouldn't leave it laying around anyways" Dude said. I still haven't moved an inch. I was pinching myself to make sure I was awake. Luckily the boy didn't look anything like my brother or I would be in trouble. Try put on his hat the same way Dude has his on.
"Hi I'm Professor Elm. Are you looking to start a Pokemon journey?" a man asked as he walked into the room and looked at me and Silver. "Yes sir we are" I said with a smile. "Good cause Gold here is too" Elm answered. I knew it. It was Gold. I threw myself a little party inside myself. "O.K you may pick your Pokemon. Let's have Dragoon go first. That is your name right? Oak said a girl with teal hair would be coming by to pick a Pokemon" Elm said as I nodded. I looked over the three pokeballs. It felt like when I was picking out Charz. A wave of depression washed over me knowing my partner wasn't with me. As I looked over the pokeballs one caught my eye. I picked it and let the Pokemon out to see it. It was a Totodile. But what caught my attention was what looked like was wrapped around it's mouth. I touched it to make sure it wasn't real. I got a growl from the reptile. "Sorry that one I didn't breed. The trainer left it here abandoned. When I let it out of the pokeball there was a metal chain wrapped around it's mouth. It grew into the skin. Nurse Joy had troubles getting it off. After we got it free and it's friendly but don't touch the scars" Elm said. I picked up my new Pokemon and checked the pokedex. "I will call you Gater and I know someone that you would get along with" I said finding out that Gater was a male. Gold picked out Cyndaquil and named it Explotaro. Silver picked the last one that was left which was Chikorita.

"Gold I have a favor for you to do for me" I pulled Gold to the side. "Anything for a beautiful girl like you" he said as I rolled my eyes. "Take care of Silver for me I won't be able to take care of him through this region" I said. "O.K can do" Gold answered. "So Try you are researching fire type Pokemon while Dude is researching water types. Well I hope you find some good things about those types" Elm happily said. "So are you relatives of the Professor in a region?" I asked confused. "No our parents hate each other and sent us to study these types. Mean while we are best friends" Dude said with a playful elbow to Try. "That and the fact that I came out of the closet and told my parents that I'm gay before leaving didn't help my case" Try sighed. "Well don't worry one of my best friends is gay so you are cool with me. Hey you could travel with me since I'm gonna be bored through Johto. I was lonely even with my Pokemon at my side at Kanto" I sighed.

We left the Lab talking about each other when Try stopped. "Uh, whose that?" Try said pointing. "Hey. Didn't your parents teach you it's not nice to point" a familiar voice said angrily. "Green why are you here?" I asked not even looking at him. "Hey I'm here too" Red added. "O.K, why are you two here you should be in Kanto not noticing that I left" I answered. "How mean. You planned on leaving your prince's in Kanto while you could be in danger. You even left your Charizard, Butterfree, Dragonite, Aerodactyl, Kabutops and Gyarados" Green said handing me six pokeballs that were empty. "Charz!! Get your tail down here!" I yelled as Charz landed holding Free. "Oh! A Charizard! I wanna see you" Try said looking over Charz much to Charz's annoyance. "Why did you let them take you here? I told you to wait for me back at Kanto" I said arms crossed. Charz lowered his head and whined. Charz noticed Gater and looked him over giving a friendly hello. "Oh yeah! Free and Charz meet Gater, he will be with me through Johto" I said picking up the little reptile. Free wiggled out of Charz arms and fluttered towards me and I told Free and Charz the story behind the scar around Gater's mouth after receiving a worried look from Free. from the looks of things Free told Gater his story of when he was with his unknown trainer to when I saved him to now. Gater looked up at me amazed telling me that I was right in thinking about what Free told him was correct.

I heard a roar coming from above to see a long shadow above us. "Please tell me that Dactyl and Nite didn't carry Rados all the way here" I said not impressed as I reconized the shadow to be Rados and started to pull the boys away from the shadow. "Aero helped" Red shot back. "Still you shouldn't of did that. Free Psychic now or Rados will squish us" I commanded as Free's eyes glowed purple as did Rados and Free gently set him down. Once Rados saw me he began to wag his tail. "Why didn't you use your Alakazam?! It is way stronger with Psychic powers than Free!" I shouted at Green. He shrugged and I punched his arm. "I'm happy to see you too boy. All of you but I told you guys to wait at Kanto for my return. I have to show that know it all Lance that I will beat him" I growled as my Pokemon landed. "I thought you already beat Lance though or you wouldn't be Champion" Red asked. "No I was mocked for my dream. I will prove I am the best Dragon tamer there is. I said earning a nod from my Kanto team and a confused look from Gater.

"So please go back to Kanto" I said as Free used Psychic to put Rados back into the water to swim back while they flew. "Well we aren't going back. You can head back to Kanto guys sorry to drag you with us. Here Nite your pokeballs remember to put them in the pouch I gave you" Green smiled. My Pokemon took off after a tear filled goodbye.

I sighed and turned to face Green and Red. "Why didn't you go back with them?" I asked. "Cause I can finally travel with my girlfriend" Green said in a huff. "Green drug me along" Red said sighing. "Oh come on you get to travel with the guy you love" Green winked. "It's too early for me or you to say that Green" I said. "O.K then with your boyfriend that you actually like and are attracted to" Green said. "I'm not gonna answer that cause I don't wanna start a fight" I sighed rolling my eyes. "Ha you admit it" Green said grabbing my hand and lacing our fingers. He gave a glare over to the new comers. "Don't worry about them Green. The red head is Gay and has a crush on the black haired kid and vice-versa from what I could tell" I said while the two boys blushed. "Oh. O.K I trust you with this Dragoon" Green said giving my hand a squeeze after seeing the reactions of Try and Dude. I sighed and walked with the four boys out of New bark town.
