Chapter 6: Third Fourth Fifth gym badges

We arrived in pallet town after a while. I went south and saw a huge ocean so I let out Nite and Rados. I climbed on the back of Rados and told Nite to stay close as we kept on going south. I let Nite deal with the trainers we came across until we reached dry land. We reached Cinnabar Island after a couple hours and Rados and Nite were happy to get the exercise they needed after being cramped up in their pokeballs for so long.

Finding the Pokemon Lab was easy as it stood out from the other buildings. We went inside and found the room with a huge machine and a scientist in it. He told me he could regenerate pokemon from fossils so I gave him the two fossils that were in my bag. He said to wait an hour so I stepped outside the room and waited an hour. When I got back into the room he held out two pokeballs.

"Congrats you now have a Kabuto and an Areodactyl" he smiled handing me the pokeballs. I left the lab thinking of names for my newest Pokemon. When I got to the water's edge I called out Nite and Rados and the two new ones. "Guys meet the last two to join our team. I think I will name you Dactyl" I said while looking at the prehistoric Pokemon that looked like a pterodactyl. "And for you I will call you, hmm lets see. Oh I always wanted to call a Pokemon this. You will be called Caps Lock" I proudly said. They made their hellos and I put the 3 pokemon that needed to be in the water in their pokeballs. Since Dactyl was just born it had troubles walking so it took to the skies with Charz and Free. They landed when I stopped at the gym doors. The doors were locked. "Great now I gotta look for that key in the mansion" I groaned.

We looked through the mansion that was abandoned and found the key. I got through the gym quite easily but that's because I used Rados against the fire types that were blocking my way to the gym leader. I was greeted by a bald man who wore a lab coat. He said his name was Blaine and led me to where we were to battle each other. He had a Ponyta, a Rapidash, a Growlithe and an Arcanine. I beat them easily though Rados fainted. "Here you go the Volcano Badge" He said handing me the badge and I left.

"I should prob go and train you two up a little" I said to Dactyl and the pokeball containing Caps Lock as I walked out of the pokecenter. So I climbed back on Rados and let Nite out of his pokeball and we went back to Pallet town. I walked back to Cerulean City while training the newest two. This time it didn't take as long as the time before. When we got back to Vermilion City Dactyl was in it's 20's and also Caps Lock. Dactyl is a male level 25 and had the moves: Wing Attack, Bite, Ancient Power and Roar. Caps Lock is a male and at level 24 and has the moves: Mud Shot, Absorb Harden and Scratch. We got to the doors of the gym and power housed through there. We got to the gym leader who was in a camouflaged uniform. He said his name was Lt. Surge and battled me. I only used Caps Lock and Dactyl and won smoothly. He had a Pikachu, a Raichu and a Voltorb. "Here ya go the Thunder Badge" He said as he tossed the badge to me.

We continued on and I was still training Dactyl and Caps Lock so they could catch up to my other Pokemon's levels. We got back to Celadon City found the gym. Caps Lock and Dactyl are now in their 30's while everyone else is nearing level 50. We got through the gym with ease again. The gym leader was a girl named Erika whom dressed in kimonos. She had a Vileplume, a Tangela and a Victreebell. She gave the Rainbow Badge after I won. I left tired and went to the Pokecenter to heal dactyl and get a room for the night.

I sat on the bed while Charz curled up with Free on his back getting ready to go to sleep. Dactyl did the same beside Charz with Caps Lock on his back. I counted my badges. I only had 3 left and one of those gyms was guarded by a Team Rocket Grunt. "The only way to get rid of them is to make their leader disband them" I sighed and flopped down on the bed, I knew what I had to do tomorrow and I shut my eyelids and fell asleep.
