The Great Pokemon Adventure!

Chapter 8: Seventh Eighth Gyms and a little talk with Giovanni

I was lucky that I picked the route in which Red caught his Snorlax or I would have to battle one. I just found it a hassle if I had to battle it. We continued south. I got tired of walking and climbed on Charz as he took to the skies with Free and Dactyl. Dactyl was carrying Caps Lock while Free started to get tired and left behind so I told them to wait while Free caught up and rested on my head. I picked Free up from my head and set him on my legs while we took off again.

"We have to stop here" I shouted as Charz and Dactyl went to land. The ride was short but it was nice to feel the wind in my hair and against my face. We arrived in Fuchsia City right after and was greeted by exhibits of Pokemon. There were a lot of Pokemon on display. We took a look, then went on trying to find the gym.

Getting through the gym was a breeze again. The gym leader was a ninja named Koga and he had: a Koffing, a Weezing, a Grimer and a Muk. He gave me the Soul badge. I was about to leave when Nite started to shake and glow. 'Yes my last Pokemon is evolving' I thought as the glowing subsided. Nite now was yellow instead of blue and now had wings, arms and legs. I could now let Nite out of his pokeball now.

I left the gym and hopped on Charz and told him to fly home. The first half of the flight back Nite had a little trouble keeping up because of his new wings but gained control of them for the rest of the way. We got to Pallet town quickly and I started to go to Virdain City where the last gym was.

Once there I got to the gym and quickly got to the leader. When the gym leader came into sight a growl was emitting from everyone that could growl. Giovanni stood there waiting for me to challenge him and I did. He had 2 Rhyhorn, a Nidoqueen, a Nidoking and a Dugtrio. After I beat him he gave me the Earth Badge.

"I will disband Team Rocket and disappear from everyone's life" he said. "WHOA! Whoa, there you are not allowed to disappear from everyone's life! I mean it. I know the reason why you set up Team Rocket. It was to find your son Silver correct? Well I know where he is so give me your pokegear number and I will call you as soon as I find him in Johto o.k? It is alright if you disband Team Rocket but don't disappear or you may never will get to meet your son!" I shouted at him. "How did you know?" He asked. "Long story. So how about it I know you want to find your son and I know where he is so lets partner up for now" I said handing out my hand to him. He took it and nodded. "You will really find Silver?" He asked and I nodded. "I guess we haven't introduced ourselves yet. Of course you know who I am but I don't know your name" Giovanni said. "Dragoon" I said. "I will meet you here tomorrow o.k?" I said as he nodded and I took off.

I went west after healing my Pokemon at the pokecenter. I ran into Green and Red where I first battled them outside of the lab. Green had a Rhyhorn now with his Pokemon. They caught sight of me and they waved. "Hey I got a got a question for ya" Green said running over to where I was. "What is it?" I asked rolling my eyes. "If I become champion would you go out with me?" He asked. I stood shocked. He knew I wasn't apart of this world and yet he still asked. "I-I will think about it. But I highly doubt that you could become Champion" I said. "That was all I needed. Red you know what to do" Green called as he put away his Pokemon and ran towards the goal of becoming Champion. "Sorry but I have to keep you busy for a while" Red grinned. Damn brat wasn't sorry at all.

"Go Pika!" Red called as the Pikachu that was resting on his head jumped down ready to battle. I brought out Caps Lock and defeated the Pikachu. "O.k Poli your next" Red called. His Poliwrath popped out of a pokeball and beat Caps Lock. I called out Dactyl and he beat the Poliwrath. "Two can play at this game. Go Aero!" he called and a Aerodacyl popped out of its pokeball. It was a tough fight but it ended in a draw. "Go Gyara!" Red called out his Gyarados and I called out Rados. Again a tie. "Go Snor!" Red called out and his Snorlax popped out of the pokeball. "Nite!" I called as Nite beat the Snorlax. "O.K Saur you are my only hope now!" Red called out his Venusaur. I called back Nite and had Charz deal with it. With a couple Flamethrowers from Charz we won. "Damn we lost. I just hope we gave Green enough time to get to the Elite 4" Red sighed as I left to heal my Pokemon who fainted.

I knew I had to hurry to become the Champion so I ran through the gates after showing the guard that I have obtained the badges I needed to pass them. Soon I was standing in front of a huge cave with a huge sign saying: WELCOME TO THE VICTORY ROAD: WHERE THE TOUGHEST TRAINERS GATHER. I knew I had to get through the cave to be able to take on the Elite 4 and their champion. I took a step towards the entrance when I was shrouded with a bright light.
