I Knew You Wouldn't Say No

The next day came and y/n did her same morning routine as yesterday, but she didn't have a million notifications from Rosie awaiting her about something terrible.

She instead had a good morning text from the blonde, which made her smile and send a reply before finishing up in her apartment.

After the two had kissed the previous day after Rosie told y/n the story, y/n decided to stay home and told the blonde to head back to work. With many protests from Rosie, along with some teasing kisses and touches, y/n put her foot down and told her to go back to work because she knew Rosie had an important meeting in the afternoon.

So reluctantly, Rosie left y/n's apartment, but she made sure to tell y/n that she'd be back tomorrow night so they could spend time together. Y/n had asked if this was a date and Rosie just gave a smile and a wink before she left to return to work.

And since yesterday, the blonde has been texting her more frequently, updating her on things she's doing. Y/n knows that Rosie is doing this because of the chaos caused by her hanging out with Jaehyun Sunday. She knows Rosie wants to be more open about her whereabouts, and she appreciated it.

So y/n's drive to work was pleasant, excited to see the blonde again. Y/n had Rosie's coffee in her cup holder and she was softly listening to the music from an artist Rosie had mentioned liking Saturday night.

Soon, y/n was heading to the blonde's office with the coffee. She knocked on her door and Rosie told her to come in, a smile already on her face as she saw y/n this time instead of Jennie.

"Hi darling." Rosie said as she got up from her desk and met y/n halfway inside her office, gently kissing her lips as both women smiled into it.

"Good morning, baby." Y/n replied as she broke the kiss, handing the coffee over to her boss. Rosie grinned and took a sip, humming in delight and reaching down to hold y/n's hand, bringing her over to the small couch that was off to the side in Rosie's office.

Y/n and Rosie both sat down, the blonde's right hand going to y/n's thigh as she gently caressed it,

"I was thinking I would come over around 6 if that's okay with you?" Y/n nodded her head,

"That's fine by me. Is there anything specific you want me to cook for dinner?" Rosie shook her head,

"No cooking because I'm bringing food." Y/n raised an eyebrow,

"That better mean takeout or your chef's food because I'm a little scared to try something that you cooked by yourself." Y/n said with a scared look on her face, though she knew that Rosie knew she was messing around. The blonde rolled her eyes,

"It's takeout, thank you for thinking so highly of my cooking that you haven't even tried yet." Rosie said in a monotone voice, making y/n laugh and peck her lips,

"I'm sure you make a mean PB&J."

"Alright, get away from me," Rosie announced as she playfully pushed y/n away from her, "I don't need you making fun of me in my damn office. I'll see you at 6."

"I'll be waiting for you then." Y/n told Rosie before getting up from the couch and leaving the office.

"Hey y/n, this whole section of the project is finished and we did testing and it came back with no problems!" Minnie excitedly said as y/n was walking by the desks of her team members. She smiled at the Thai,

"Hell yeah, that's great! We just have to double check everything works smoothly together and we are done. Good work, you guys." All the women smiled and got back to work.

All of them except two.

Jennie and Lisa.

The two women were in their own world and y/n noticed something felt different between the pair. She's known them for the longest, so it was an obvious change. Though she couldn't pinpoint or figure out what had changed. Jennie felt eyes on her and looked over to see y/n observing her and Lisa, making her just give y/n a middle finger; something she would normally do.
