The Old Man

The middle of January rolled around and y/n was over her girlfriend's place as she had slept over Friday night. She did this knowing she was going to be leaving in the late morning because she had a lunch scheduled with Lisa and Jennie. Y/n didn't want to spend the night away from her girlfriend if she knew she could be with her.

"My love, what do you want for dinner tonight and tomorrow night?" Y/n asked as she was still laying in bed. Rosie was over at her desk doing some scrapbooking because she's taken many photos of her and her girlfriend together and wants a book of memories.

"Uh, whatever you make I'll be fine with, darling." Rosie replied as she cut a piece of yellow striped tape, placing it precisely onto the page. She smiled and grabbed a marker and wrote '6 months <3' on the piece of tape as a few photos of them on their 6 month anniversary were on the page.

"Rosie, that doesn't help me at all."

"I'm not picky, I'll eat whatever you make." Y/n sighed and just looked at the back of her girlfriend as she focused on her scrapbook. She sat up in the bed and slowly got out of it, wandering over to her girlfriend and resting her chin on top of Rosie's head,

"You really aren't going to give me any choices food wise?"

"Nope, I trust you," Rosie replied, "how do you like this page?"

"It's pretty, I like the little snowflake stickers." Y/n said, complimenting her girlfriend's work as Rosie smiled happily.

"I wish I could do this to papers at work." Rosie said as y/n smiled and moved her head off Rosie's and leaned down to kiss her cheek,

"You technically can since you're the CEO, my love. Do you want your usual banana and honey bread?"

"That sounds delicious." Rosie said as y/n nodded her head and left the bedroom to make her and her girlfriend some breakfast.

She entered the kitchen and grabbed the honey jar out of a cabinet and the bunch of bananas on the countertop. Y/n then grabbed the bread out of the bread box and went to grab a knife from the drawer. She just took a paper towel and cut the bananas on there as she didn't feel like doing dishes right now.

Once the bananas were cut, she laid them on the bread and then drizzled the honey on top, making two slices of the bread for Rosie and one for herself. The project manager never really had big breakfasts often, so she was content with one slice as she brought the bread to the bedroom on the paper towels.

She headed over to the desk and placed them down on the wood for her girlfriend. Rosie quickly turned her head and placed a kiss on y/n's lips as a thank you before returning to picking out the perfect sticker to start the next page.

Y/n brought over the vanity chair that was nearby and sat down next to her girlfriend, watching her decorate the pages peacefully.

The two women just coexisted for a bit, no words needing to be exchanged. Though sometimes Rosie would ask her girlfriend's opinion on stickers or markers to use. Other than that, no other words were spoken, though a few kisses were stolen and they tasted sweet like honey.

"I'm going to take a shower and get ready to leave, would you like to join me?" Y/n asked her girlfriend as she stood up from the chair and went over to her drawer in Rosie's dresser, pulling out some jeans and a crewneck.

"Darling, that isn't even a question that you ever have to ask me. Of course I'm joining you." Rosie stated as she easily ignored her scrapbooking and got up as well and walked right to the bathroom without a spare change of clothing. Y/n chuckled and followed her girlfriend, hearing Rosie turn the water on for the shower.
