Y/n walked into the penthouse and it was quiet, eerily quiet. Her girlfriend always has something making noise in the penthouse at all times it seems like. Whether it be the TV, some music, the dishwasher, or their newly adopted dog running around the place happily because he heard the elevator.

But there was none of that.

Rosie had told y/n that she was leaving work early because she had a hair appointment and y/n didn't bat an eye because it seemed reasonable. Her hair was newly back to her natural color, that being black, and it had a lot of work to do in order to be healthy again. So, Rosie had some hair appointments to help with the process and whatnot. It was also normal to y/n to drive separately the days Rosie had these appointments, so nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

But this was suspicious because she wouldn't take Hankie with her.

"What is this woman planning?" Y/n muttered to herself as she headed to their bedroom, placing her laptop bag on a living room chair as she plans to do some more work later. She opened their bedroom door and looked around, seeing no one there. She was thinking for a split second that Rosie was fast asleep with Hankie in the closed bedroom, but no life was detected with her eyes.

Y/n knows Rosie too well after dating for 3 years, she has to have left a note or something somewhere. And if it was something for her, it makes even more sense because it's probably a surprise, which is why Rosie wouldn't text her and have her find out when she got home.

So, y/n went searching...well, after she changed into some sweats and a t-shirt, getting out of her suit from work that was wrinkled and sweaty.

"If I were Rosie, where would I hide a note?" Y/n asked herself as she had to now pretend to think like her beloved girlfriend.

God knows that's rather difficult.

Y/n though had a few ideas and started her search, going over to her makeup vanity and craft desk first. She didn't see anything out of the ordinary, so she wandered out of the bedroom and into the living room.

And there sitting neatly on the coffee table in front of the couch was an envelope that had 'darling <3' written in neat cursive. Y/n smiled and realized she completely missed it when she put her bag down on the chair nearby. Nonetheless, y/n happily went over to the couch and sat down, grabbing the envelope and opening it up, wondering what her girlfriend had written her.

She took out the piece of paper and unfolded it, smiling more as she was met with a letter decorated with stickers and cute little drawings around it.

Dear my y/n,

I know you're definitely wondering why the place is so quiet right now since it never is unless it's in the middle of the night; but then again, usually the AC is on or something, so there is still some white noise, but I'll just get sidetracked if I keep talking about the noise levels in our home.

Though you've said many times you love my voice and you're definitely reading this in my voice, so make sure you use my sexy voice as you read the rest of this, okay?

So in the first guest bedroom I have a gorgeous suit tailored just for you that I'd absolutely love if you wore for me tonight. I know damn well you will look so sexy in it since I picked it out ;)

Once you're all ready, take your sexy ass over to where we had our first public date, darling. There, my sexy ass will be waiting, along with Hankie because I didn't want to leave him alone!

Now hurry the fuck up, I'm missing you a lot and I literally left work early for this, so go over the speed limit (but don't you fucking dare crash and die on me)!
