"The Kill Order And The Origins Of Y/n" (Book 1!)

S1 Part 17

Y/n's POV:

Alec decided that he would drive; so Mark was in the passenger, while Trina was with me and DeeDee in the backseat.

Mark said to us that we would be staying together, since we didn't want other people to die. We were all walking inside the berg.

Still walking, there was a shake causing us to almost lose our balance. I put my hand on the ground, before I fell. I got up, looked around, my sword in my hand tightly, I had it out the whole walk here, just in case zombies came and attack us.

I see a zombie; run full force at me, the others were on the ground yelling my name, still on the ground from the earthquake, that has happened to this building. It tried to slash me, I quickly dodged it, when I was behind the zombie; i sliced its neck, meaning; it's neck got chopped off, and fell on the ground, along with it's body.

Everyone looked at me, done slicing his head off.

"Get a move on. We must be quick to get to the safe zone." I say, everyone gets up, walking together, seeing what's next.

Everyone was walking, til I noticed Trina walking, very slowly and almost dizzy, she fell on the ground, like she fainted.

We all turned around, Mark and DeeDee ran to her side, me and Alec stood there; shocked, processing why Trina fainted. Mark held Trina in his arms, DeeDee was kneeling by her side, holding her hand.

I walked over, kneeled down, and opening her arm sleeve; only to see an infection scar, just like Lana had. I look up at Mark, giving him a glare. Did he know something about this?!

"Did you know?" I ask, coldly towards him, DeeDee and Alec looked at him, shocked and waiting for his reply.

"Yes. You, DeeDee and Alec were fighting in the house with those people, when they killed Lana and Baxter. While Trina was fighting off, one of the guys was a zombie, they appeared and scratched her. Trina begged me not to tell anyone, since everyone else was worried about Lana, and Baxter, and all this trying to find the safe zone, aka WCKD." Mark explained to us.

Alec looked shocked, and didn't even look at Mark. DeeDee was in the tears, she said to me...she felt more comfortable around Trina, more like DeeDee and Trina were sisters.

DeeDee said to me; that Trina and me are like sisters to her. A little frustrated, almost everyone thinks I'm a girl, for maybe having long hair. I stood there, a little shocked, and mad that Mark didn't tell anyone, so I decided to now give Mark a whole talk, aka a piece of my mind.

"Mark why didn't you tell us?! You have to tell us if anyone else got infected! Lana never told us, shouldn't that teach you anything?! Not telling us about Trina, is angry and frustrating!! If you told everyone, or me, I could test on Trina's blood, and see how long the changing would be! You don't tell anyone, and all the help in the world is gone or too late!! Mark you tell us, don't make stupid decisions!!" I snapped at him.

He looked at me, shocked and in tears almost. DeeDee looked at me in tears, while Alec was looking back at us, and in shock on what i said.

"I'm sorry Y/n. I'm sorry DeeDee. I'm sorry Alec." Mark says to us. Alec and DeeDee nodded in forgiveness, while for me, I was still quite mad at Mark.

I started to observe; vines and other things on her now infected body.

The same shake noise came; knocking Alec on his feet, his hand supporting him before he fell. I looked around, seeing if there were more zombies, but only to hear a loud screaming and roaring sound. Everyone looked at each other, and Mark picked up Trina's fainted body, bride style.

"Everyone get up and QUICK!" Alec yelled at us. There was a swarm of zombies, chasing after us, to turn us, and eat us.

Running and running, fast as would could, and away from the zombies; all destroying the building, and as a whole army, Mark wasn't running so fast, but due to Trina's weight, it was slowing him down.

I would kill some of the zombies, but there was too many for me to kill. The whole entire berg started to shake, almost making us fall down. Try not to fall,  keep running for your, and our friends lives. The whole building was about to be destroyed.

I looked back, seeing Mark fall down, seeing blood falling from his leg. Alec tried to run back, but I had my hand on his wrist, tightly gripping it.

"GO WITHOUT ME! STAY SAFE AND SURVIVE FOR ME, TRINA, LANA, BAXTER AND MORE LIVES. GO!!!" Mark yelled, all the zombies got to him, we saw blood everywhere; coming out of Mark and Trina.

Which means Mark and Trina are now dead.

The swarm, aka army of zombies...killed Mark and Trina.

Zombies everywhere kept chasing after us, they killed Mark and Trina, I was still shocked, but keep moving Y/n. We kept running and running until, the screams of the zombies catching the attention of something outside, but next was...

All 3 of us saw flashing big headlights, flashing inside the building. Could it be...No it's. It's. It's WCKD.
