"The Kill Order And The Origins Of Y/n" (Book 1!)

S1 Part 8

Y/n's POV:

One of the girl's named Lana explained to me and DeeDee about WCKD. She told us that WCKD is a scientific organization making a cure for what the flare virus.

People claimed that the virus name is. The Flare Virus. People after people told people there looking for people who are immune to this virus. Rumors fly by.

"Wait there's actually immune people?!" DeeDee said, in amazement, shocked, and surprised.

"Yeah. They've been looking for people to save from this virus, is what people told others and us." Lana said to us, explaining it to me and DeeDee. The long drive was long, but we made it to the abandoned broken down neighborhood; from what Mark said.

"Remember stay safe. If you see a lot flare zombies like an army, we all run back to the car and drive away." Mark said to us. He told everyone to split up, while one person stayed with me, DeeDee, and Baxter.

"I would like to join you." I said, making everyone look at me in eye widened.

"Is this kid insane?!" Alec said to everyone, in shock. Baxter and DeeDee being kids were upset; saying why i might be going and not them. Lana, Trina, Alec, and Mark we're having there own group talk, they were circled together having a group talk. They turned to me, argued saying i shouldn't being going.

"Look i survived in this apocalyptic world for over a year. I know i can do this, i can help you. If you just let me come." I said to them. They looked at each other, then pointed there head to come with them. I walked over to them, standing next to Trina and Mark, now crossed my arms.

"Come on why can't we come?!" DeeDee and Baxter said to them, in anger and frustrated.

"Because we've heard from Y/n, they survive the apocalyptic world all by themselves for over a year or two, even three. You guys only survived for some weeks, but don't be sad Alec will watch over you." Lana said to DeeDee and Baxter. Alec gave her a shocked, confused face to Lana.

"What?! But Lana i want to be with you!" Alec said to Lana, she kept telling Alec that she'll be fine. I honestly don't understand what the feeling is, the feeling they are sharing of what Lana and Alec are doing. I was rather confused and curious on what this feeling, the feeling of what those 2 were doing.

I asked Trina what kind of emotion that was, and why he was confused about Lana.

"It's something called love miss Y/n. It comes in all forms; someday you'll find someone you love. Love comes in whatever person you'll fine. If you ever meet a person, who's super nice, and sticks up to you, everything to make you feel really special. That's a act of ture love." Trina said to me, she kneeled down to me and whispered it to me. She winked at me, she stood back up and started talking to Mark.

The word 'love' makes me feel really confused and wired. I've never experienced love in my whole life, or ever, exactly. Lana and Alec had some kinda wired love argue, fight, they hugged it out, Alec went and leaned on the car's door.

"Ok Trina will be with Lana. Y/n will be with me." Mark said to everyone. I nodded to him and walked myself over to him. Trina and Lana nodded, then stood next to each other. Alec, Baxter, and DeeDee waved bye to us, and we walked away.

Trina and Lana waved bye to us, both girls walked to the left side of the abandoned neighborhood. Mark and i waved bye to them, then we walked to the right side of the abandoned neighborhood. Both me and Mark walked down to this abounded broken, full of rusted cracks road in silent. Walking down in silence, til i look up to see Mark about to talk to me.

"Did you have any family before this happened?" Mark said to me. I was kinda shocked, but kinda not, since my biological family died of unknown causes; not really believing the flare killed them.

"No. My family died long ago." I said, kinda ture but kinda lied. Mark didn't know my way of lying, so he nodded his head an agreement. I noticed a house, which i walked towards at.

"Hey Y/n where are you going?!" Mark said, running behind me. I looked over at a window; it had broken cracks all over it, and rusted. I pulled out my sword, out of my backpack.

I then made a giant "X" mark on the window, I placed the sword back in my backpack, before the window broke. The glass broke, right after i placed the sword back in my backpack.

"H-how did you?!" Mark said to me, in total amazement and shockingly. I didn't reply, i just zipped my backpack up, jumped inside the broken down house. Mark jumped in after me, now we were inside an old bedroom.

"Split up. You go find some stuff in the kitchen, I'll find some bathroom needs." Mark said to me. I nodded, walking off to the kitchen, Mark walking to the bathroom. I took my backpack off my back and unzipped it.

I started now stuffing food inside it. I didn't have much room, since my backpack had too much clothes, medical supplies, and scientific equipment. I see Mark; signaling me to run, seeing 5 flare zombies chasing after me and Mark. I zipped my backpack up, quickly putting the backpack on my back.

Both me and Mark jumped out of the bedroom window. The flare zombies came out of the window, now chasing us on the road. I grabbed my backpack, now holding it by one of it's straps.

I unzipped the backpack, got my sword out and disappeared into the shadows.

Mark's POV:

Both me and Y/n were running away, til Y/n disappeared. Shit Y/n no!!! I see the 5 flare zombies fall on the ground...without there heads on there bodies.

I stopped running and stood there, observing what just happened. I see Y/n standing there, holding her sword, which was covered in the zombies dark black blood on it. There hair all in a ponytail, and covered in some flare zombie black blood or goo; always made me think she's a girl with that hair.

She grabs out a small cloth, and starts wiping the blood off her sword, and placed it back into her backpack, slowly walking over to me; like nothing happened.

Y/n's POV:

I successfully killed the 5 flare zombies, i walked over to Mark; having my cold and emotionless behavior.

"How did you do that so fast?!" Mark said, in complete shock.

I took his wrist and started running away, back to the car, where everyone else is. Making it back to the car, i noticed that Trina and Lana weren't here yet.

"What's taking them so long?!" Alec asked, really afraid, confused, and frustrated.

Mark had to calm him down, while i was sitting on the car's hood; with DeeDee and Baxter.

Finally seeing Trina and Lana coming, expect something didn't look right.

"What happened you two?!" Both Mark and Alec said to the 2 girls. They obviously said nothing, they just jumped in the car. Placing my backpack right next to me, adjusting to the seat of the car.

Lana and Trina sat in the backseat together. Both me, DeeDee, and Baxter went to the car, and sat in the another backseat; which is behind Lana and Trina. Alec decided to sit in the passenger seat, Mark went to the driver seat.

Mark drove us away and we started heading somewhere, maybe to a safe place.

I looked, seeing a wired mark on Lana's knee, making me wonder. Did Lana get scratched by a infected zombie?!

(Btw yes i know Lana dies by getting stabbed by crazy people, but in my au she's infected and will still die by getting stabbed by crazy people.)
