Anastasia
I have again been reminded of my wish that I asked Santa for help with not being dragged away from my only father by my money hungry mother. She divorced dad and got custody of us. Santa told me he couldn't grant me the wish, but he didn't want me to lose hope and he told me that I should remember that my dad will still love me no matter where I am. I started crying and ran to my dad and my mom came to see why I was crying. I told her and she hugged me and told me everything would be okay. It wasn't okay for any of us. I look at Daisy and think about how she came to be. Her existence put a pedophile behind bars for a very long time. I wasn't his first victim and mom put me in his line of fire and his baby making device. She luckily couldn't marry the man because Ray refused to give her a divorce until she brought us back to Montesano. He wanted us for his signature on the divorce. After mom found out about Stephen raping me she also found out I was pregnant. He told her that I seduced him, she called the police and let them discuss it. No matter how he said it he had sex with a 12 year old. I told my version and they told my mom that they were calling my dad and he would be getting custody of us kids. Dad got us when the divorce went through. I now have my darling Daisy, I look at her and know she is not her father and never will be like him. No matter what she is an innocent child and I loved her from the start. I still have therapy for what happened and it helps.

I see the look in Anastasia's eyes as she looks at Daisy and I know that pain in her eyes. She loves Daisy very much but she hates how she came to be. I hurry us in the line to let Daisy talk to Santa. We are in Seattle and Daisy's birthday is Christmas Day she will be five years old and Anastasia is going to college. She is in her last year and is getting job offers already. Her books are selling out and she has two book signings. Joseph does the graphics and covers for her books some are good, some are redone by the publishers.

I am so glad to be in Seattle and looking at houses for us to move into. After the house was burned down in Montesano and we just barely escaped we are ready for this move. All of my drawings are gone. Things we can't replace. Daisy lost her favorite dolly and Anastasia lost her books. Dad lost what he says is less important than us children. Luckily his fireproofing saved quite a few things we needed and he recovered quite a lot of things. My dad was a very sentimental man we found out. Stephen Morton is dead after his escape and he was discovered in Montesano. The police discovered him watching the fire burn down our home and tried arresting him but he ran and fell into a ditch and somehow broke his neck. Dad said the way his body landed he broke his nose and his neck. Daisy misses her friends, Anastasia didn't have many because of her having Daisy, people decided they knew how she had Daisy and kept their daughters away from her.

We finally find a nice home that has a pool and a dock with a boathouse. It has security gates and codes and is needing updated, but that can't take long to do. I negotiate the price and soon we are able to settle on a price and then a move in time, since it is empty we get and early move in date. They allowed it because we have no home and are living with friends in Seattle. We might be welcome in their home, but even friends can only take so much of friends living in their home. Especially with an active five year old running around playing. Daisy doesn't intentionally do things that cause damage, but it happens. Luckily nothing irreplaceable was damaged. I replaced the broken items with exactly the same ones. We start ordering furniture for the house to be delivered the day after we take possession of the house.

Daisy can't make up her mind about what furniture she wants in her room or what theme she wants. I finally have dad and Joseph take over and they have talked her out of a skylight. Then there were the clothes and the toys were another matter. Books and a bookshelf, dad told her he would need time to do the bookshelf. Joseph said he couldn't reproduce the toy box because the wood is expensive and hard to find. Luckily she finally went to bed and all three of us went over everything and created a room just for her. All her favorites and her clothing and everything. Next time don't involve a five year old in choosing what she wants in her room. Go with her favorites and put it all together and surprise her. Jospeh and dad ordered the wood for the toy box and bookshelves. Dad is going to rent a place to do his furniture building and woodworking business. I am starting at Seattle Independent Publishing as an Assistant Editor. I don't know who my boss will be yet. I won't start until after I get my degree and they get a copy of it and my grades. That should be the beginning of June. I can't wait for that time and I still need to get a daycare for Daisy. Dad says she can come with him to his shop, but I know she will get into everything there.  We are finally in our new house and I know the Anderson breathed a sigh of relief after we left. Daisy loved her room.
