Everything went smoothly in HR and I am assigned to Cheryl Smith as her assistant editor. I am in the middle of editing some manuscripts and I hear cursing coming from the editor's office next to my bosses. I just keep editing. I haven't met the guy yet, but I think that he has had to replace his assistants often. I am glad I am not his assistant. Gregg Samuels is his new assistant and he has been assigned to him and I heard that mr Hyde was not thrilled to get a male assistant. Rumors have reached my ears regarding him. I am told not to be alone with him anywhere. I carry a gun and have a carry and conceal license. Dad taught me self defense and had someone come give me further instructions and I practice it. Daisy knows things as well. Dad said while I was up here and in college I needed to protect myself. Daisy was taught
alongside me. We rented a place and had a housekeeper watch Daisy while I was in college. She left us to work for more and a better place.
We miss her. She recommended a few people and a good preschool program. So I looked into it. Dad will take her and Joseph will pick her up. That way I am on time to work.

Jack Hyde
I met my new assistant and I was mad because I asked for Anastasia Steele to be my assistant. She is working for Cheryl and I have Gregg Samuels. I call HR and ask for Elizabeth Morgan and find out she is too busy to chat with me. They ask if they can help me and I tell them a mistake was made and I have the wrong assistant. She tells me it wasn't a mistake at all. She also tells me that they felt that I would do better with a male assistant since I can't seem to keep female ones. She asks if there was anything else and if not she needs to answer the phones. I hang up and curse at the phone and I think about how I can change this situation. Well she's still working here and we will run into each other and alone as well. I decide to stay and place a tiny camera so I can see when she leaves her desk to go anywhere. She's 18 years old and I am sure she'll be easy prey.

Ray
I am busy working and I am taking on some new clients that heard about my skills from his parents and wondered about my availability for custom made items for a customer he has. I agree to talk to the customer about what they are looking for and what they want wood wise. We set up a time and place to meet and then go to the customers home. I had to bring Daisy with me because Joseph had hotter things to do.

Anastasia
After being here for three days I noticed something off about my area and then I see it, a tiny camera focused on my chair and positioned so they can see down my top. I get out of the line of view and pull it down with a napkin covering the lens. I take it to the owner and hand it to him. I ask him if they do this to all new employees? He has no idea what I am talking about. They don't have video surveillance anywhere in the building. He says it has to be one of the current employees who did it. After I told him that I noticed differences between yesterday and today so it wasn't there before I was hired. We have security badges that recognize when we enter and leave. Mr Brown says he will look into it. I ask if I can have my dad check it out and he agrees to it. I cover it up and put it in my tampon container.

Ray
I agreed to the job and Daisy has entertained Elliott while I spoke to the customers. We leave for home and Elliott wants to take us to a kid friendly restaurant and play games. The guy is a big kid and I agree and they both play until I insist we need to go home. Elliott is a nice guy and I sense he would love to have a child of his own soon, but he is not the marrying kind he tells me. He is the uncle type though. When I told him I wasn't Daisy's father he was surprised. I tell him my daughter is her mother. She is working at Seattle Independent Publishing right now. He says by to both of us and shakes both our hands. Daisy and he went home with a lot of prizes. Anastasia has something to talk to me about tonight and it's important. She slips me a napkin and tells me the camera is still recording, so I take it to the safe room and keep the lens covered and get the numbers off the back. I check it out then the IP address. She tells me she suspects Jack Hyde if the rumors are correct he is a sexual predator. I tell her to never be alone anywhere around him. I place the camera in a position where he can't see anything but my gun collections.

Joseph
Things got interesting at the shop after dad left, we got a special order for a bed. I got strange vibes from the woman. I told her my dad can get back to her on the costs of what she wants. I get the feeling she wants me. I just turned 16 years old and the old woman was too touchy freely for me. Mrs Lincoln also had special attachments she wanted on the bed. I nearly called the police because she was too aggressive in her her touches. Soon she saw the look on my face and the hammer in one hand and the phone in the other and excused herself and left. No way will we be doing business with her.
