The Childcare Fiasco

Anastasia
I wasn't thrilled that my darling daughter slipped through the supposedly secure childcare system of caring for my daughter that I forgot how smart Daisy is. I then questioned her on other escapes she had found and without realizing it she gave Christian and I all her escape plans. I receded them and she suddenly realized we got her escape routes, sometimes even smart people are so proud of their findings they are proud of them and unwittingly give up the answers. I know my child. Christian now had the information that he can use to assure Daisy and the other children can't get out of the facility and the person who failed to watch Daisy is being fired. Christian also gives them a list of escape routes Daisy has found so far.

Christian
I terminate the person that Daisy told me left her alone in the bathroom and didn't stand there to assure she got back to the childcare center. We can't have this kind of thing happen again. I tell the manager to get the escape plans and close up all the gaps so no one escapes again. I even hire more staff to come in to help out on all shifts. Daisy is going to be watched more carefully after she escaped. Lunch was again a fun event and Daisy again told the waitress that flirting with me while I am with two females in rude to them along with unprofessional. The waitress was angry and she was about to say something when I told her to get the manager, that stopped her tracks. She thought her flirting was getting her somewhere. It wasn't and the manager replaced her with the original waitress who had our table. The first one grabbed the table from her and rather than cause an issue she just allowed her to have it. The waitress was fired because they had already spoke to her about stealing tables from the other wait staff. The manager apologized to all of us and offered us a desert for free. Daisy asked for chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. My favorite so I ordered it to, we all three had it. Another fun lunch with the girls.

Ray
Carrick has asked me to build two desks for his and Graces home offices. So I had to go look at the space and see how big it needs to be and if I can fit it in through the doors. He asked for a desk that reflects what he does for a living and we came up with various ideas. Then he wants something delicate in design and color for Graces office. I show him a few that I have made before he chose one but made a small change and we are done. He starts talking about Anastasia and Christian and I chuckle because there is no Anastasia and Christian.

Carrick
After we get the desks orders completed I offer him something to eat and drink and he takes water and no food. I ask him about Anastasia and Christian and he says there is no Anastasia and Christian and I ask him if he is sure? He tells me they have never went on a date. Just lunch because of Daisy. No romance at all. I then ask him something that he will not talk to him about, because it is up to Anastasia who she tells about her past. So that ends that part of the conversation and I suspect he is already angry, so I just tell him that Christian is six years older than Anastasia. Plus there is Daisy to think about. At this point he stops me and tells me Anastasia has no plans of marrying his sons or dating either of them. She has other plans and started those plans after she discovered her pregnancy. She has written five books under a different name and about to publish another book. She has a book signing coming up soon.

Ray
Why are we discussing them anyway they are both adults and both smart enough to figure out their own lives. Don't let Anastasia's age and sweet demeanor fool you mr Grey she can be your worst nightmare if you cross her. You would be lucky if she deigned to even look at your children as a future mate. She has gone through hell and she has survived and nothing you do can be as bad as she has gone through. So do you still want my services or was this you just wasting my time so you can pretend you and your family are too good for my family? We both know that's not true.

I apologize and I am reminded that we are like he says not any better than his family and he is right we really aren't. If Daisy were here she would have put me in my place and that is being lesser than her family because of my poor behavior and forgetting we are all equal, just because some of us are financially more secure it means nothing because all of it can disappear in a second. I show him my patio and grille and tell him the bbq is in a few weeks and we would like all of them to join us if they can come. I show him the dock and he recommends that we check the structure. I show him the boat house and he tells me that we should always have the place looked over for structural issues being on the water. It needs it regularly. Elliott never has time to do it and I ask if he can check it out when he has time.

I tell him I will check on my schedule and see when I can get out to look at it. I am still a little miffed at him even broaching the subject of Anastasia and Christian and I knew where it was headed. I believe that was the true reason for his wanting me here at his home. Apparently he thinks his home would intimidate me. Wait until he sees our home.
