A Truly Good Time Or What Lunch Were You At?

I think that Anastasia and I have been keeping it together, but Daisy is quite the little matchmaker. I do believe she has her mother in mind as my match. I don't think being subtle is one of her strong points. Elliott was put on the spot and so was Mia. I don't think she felt comfortable with my parents to put them on the spot though. They really enjoyed having a very long lunch with the Steele's. I have to say Ray was nicer than I might have been if my daughter and granddaughter were here with her boss and his mother for a lunch date of sorts. Dad contacted me later and told me to step carefully when it comes to Anastasia and Daisy, because Ray is not someone who takes care of his family lightly. He told not to pursue Anastasia if I am not serious about her. I told him that dating her isn't what I would even consider. He told me you might not be, but Daisy has decided that you and her mother will be married soon. Ray told me that if she doesn't like a guy that approaches her mother she makes it known. Apparently dad and Ray spoke about Anastasia and being approached by guys who wanted to go out with her and her daughter basically told them that she didn't like them and they had no chance, the stupid men ignored the advice of her daughter. It didn't go well for them.

Carrick
As cute and adorable Daisy is, she is a protective shield against men who she feels are not good people. Christian doesn't normally like being around children but he and Daisy have bonded with each other. Grace told me about the overly friendly hostess being called out about her flirting and how unprofessional it was to do it. She stopped doing it. I think she chooses who she thinks needs to be told things. Grace said that she told her that her exam room wasn't kid friendly.Besides her mothers age that also left a lasting impression on her.

Mia
I love Daisy and her family they are so real. She didn't hesitate to put in her two cents at every chance. Anastasia told us that she doesn't mind asking questions and also telling you how exactly what she thinks. She had her tested and she's very advanced. Recommendations are that she be placed in schools for children with high IQs. Daisy said that she didn't like the other children and their parents scared her. I asked her why and she said they just pushed their children constantly and that caused the child undue stress. Her mommy doesn't push her like that. So she thinks that she should just test out of the courses in regular school and see what grade she can get through like her mommy did.

Daisy had a point, but where did a six year old hear about my dating so many women? I do believe she left my parents out of her analysis and her family. Well maybe not her mom. She definitely wasn't subtle about Christian and her mom. A sledgehammer was in her hand and she used it. Calling Mia out for her designer clothing was funny. I love that she pointed out all clothing is designed. She has a point.

Grace
I invite the Steele's over for a bbq, I wouldn't normally do this but I can't help myself, Daisy is just too good not to have her come to the bbq. I can't wait to see how she deals with others that seem to think they should be my daughter in law, or my son in law for that matter. Mia's friends need to have their eyes open. I also know that Anastasia keeps Daisy close to her at all times, unless she's at school, daycare or her family. Occasionally a known sitter.

I am a little concerned about Daisy around Mia's friends and being as outspoken as she can be. I doubt that Anastasia would allow them to touch her. I definitely wouldn't allow the person who would do it to stay at my home and assure they be charged with assault. I have never seen or heard of them assaulting anyone at any time, even each other when they have their disagreements. Mia has tried to tell them that her brothers aren't interested in them and they scoff at her. I think they live in the fantasy world where every story has a happy ending, those rose colored glasses might be getting shattered soon.

I got a call from the lobby about a small visitor wanting to see me. I asked Jason to find out who it is because I am on a video call to Taiwan. I finally end the call and call Jason and he brings in one Daisy Steele. She was in the daycare and decided to come visit me and tried my elevator and couldn't get it to move, so she told the security guard that she wanted to see me. So because she was a child he decided it would be good to call me and he was right. We have an issue with daycare if Daisy escaped, has any other children escaped? Why aren't they contacting security and just how did Daisy escape? I first call them and ask to speak to Daisy, Daisy gives me an odd look. Apparently she needed to use the restroom and they allowed her to go and she slipped out when they weren't paying attention. The nervous worker on the phone said the child was in the restroom and she isn't anymore and they are trying to find her. Security is now searching for Daisy. I ask Daisy if she has had lunch yet? She said no and she was going to have lunch with her mommy and she was going to pick her up, so she was glad to see me but she had to get back to daycare now before her mommy got scared. She's right. I take her down to daycare and slip her back in and Jason tells the guards that Daisy has been found.

Anastasia
I finally come to daycare to pick Daisy up and see her holding hands with mr Grey. Oh crap. She tells me he invited us to lunch and he nods his head and there's not much I can do but go to lunch with him and Daisy. I notice the staff in the daycare seem a bit nervous about something. Soon I find out why. Daisy escaped from their so called escape proof facility. She apparently tried to go up in mr Greys elevator and it didn't go, so she had the guard in the lobby call Mr Grey and they took her to see him. She had to wait ten minutes to see him. My concern is that they never called me regarding her being missing at all.
