The Inheritance

Dad called and told us that they got Carla and she died from a gun shot wound after trying to shoot a security officer who was trying to contain her. She had just shot out dads cars tires. When they searched the car they found something and they need Daisy and I to stay put until they resolve it. Christian has been made aware that they found something that needs looking into.

I am glad that they are taking extra measure of keeping Anastasia and Daisy safe. Daisy has made friends with all the security and Gail. I enjoy having them both here. We made sure that Daisy can't go out on the balconies. A locking mechanism was put on the tops of all the balcony doors. At seven she is still not allowed out there and we aren't risking her going out there. I go a find Daisy helping Gail cook. She was even giving her cooking instructions. Gail just smiled and did as asked. I do believe that she has influenced Gail one of the best cooks. I guess Anastasia taught her how to cook, or did she teach Anastasia how to cook? I am not going to ask that question though. I smile as I sit down by Anastasia. She brought her work with her including her new books, she had to sign books for the book signing that she can't make. She cancelled it, but signed a hundred books for her readers to win in a drawing. Plus manuscripts for GEH. Her assistant has no idea where Anastasia is right now and has been instructed to send calls to security for now. I have told Roz the situation and she will keep things going for now. I can get to GEH and continue to work. I can work from from home office and sign things if needed. Andrea had to reschedule three appointments to see Roz. Of course Elliott, Mia and mom want to see Daisy. Elliott has good news about him and Kate. They are dating. I think they are doing more than dating. His security reported back to Jason that Kate stayed the whole weekend.

Elliott
I really didn't want Kate to leave, but we had work so we got cleaned up and I took her to her home so she could get ready for work. I found out that she can't cook or clean. Luckily I can do both. Mia taught me to cook and the cleaning I asked my mom and her maid how to do things. Gretchen and I had a thing and she hates me now. She still works for mom and dad because she has a thing for Christian. Her heart is going to be heartbroken. I am glad that we got Kate to the party. We have a date tomorrow at seven and at my house for dinner. Her idea. I wanted to take her out.

Kate
I had a lot of fun with Elliott and we made a date for tomorrow for seven pm at his house, he wanted to take me out for dinner but I wanted to go to his house for dinner. I had plans for him and I and I brought extra things to spend the night with. I wished I had said yes to seeing him before. This guy might just work out. Having a crush on him is one thing but the crush is reciprocated is another one. He and his sister along with Daisy and her mother helped get me to see Elliott for who he truly is and him I can fall in love with, not the player around Seattle.

Ray
We went to the hotel to get Carla's things and her friend. There was a man with her on this and I believe it was an attorney. Not one who operates within the law. Business cards were found in the glove compartment of the car and a hotel receipt with the dates it was rented. He was funding the deal to grab the two. At least that's how it looks. We arrive at the hotel, typical hotel for a criminal to hide. We have the key to the room. As we unlock the door we hear a noise, one that sounds like a gun's trigger being pulled. The security pulls me away from the door and opens the door to hear the gun being shot. He gets inside and gets the gun from a man who looks nothing like we expected. We discovered that it was the attorney who was trying to find Anastasia and Daisy. He had been tied up by Carla and thought it was her coming back to kill him. No one called the police when he shot at us and no one will if we find out he is on the up and up. She had been holding him hostage and his family had reported him missing for three days. She needed him to handle the exchange of the estate to Daisy and make her the executor of the will and force Anastasia to turn Daisy over to her legally. He had all the paperwork ready for their signatures. We called his family after finding out that they did indeed report him missing and had a witness to Carla being the last person seen with him. He had to get Morton's will executed and they needed the DNA test done so they used the DNA they had and ran Daisy's from her hair brush. It was a match it took a few days. We put him and his family up at a nicer hotel. We left all of Carla's things after the police were informed of the situation. They had the car and the hotel room and the rope burns and drugs she used to take him. She apparently gave him just enough to control him after she took him at gunpoint. He definitely wasn't kind about Carla and she wasn't going away and she wouldn't tell him where to find the heir or who it was.

Attorney David Dennison
I was finally able to dispose of the Morton estate including all the life insurance policies. Properties and accounts here and overseas. Part of the assets went to her mother and the other went to Daisy as the blood heir. The trust fund was set up easily by her mothers attorney. The one thing I didn't expect was her ripping up his letter to her mother and the letter to his child. She informed me that he was a monster. She asked that Daisy not be present for what she was about to tell me. Morton had raped her at the age of 12 and at 13 she nearly died giving birth to his daughter and she nearly died as well. He was put away for life for raping her and attempted murder of her brother who nearly died trying to stop Morton from raping her. Her piece of crap mother knew Morton was a pedophile and still took us away from our father and allowed this to happen to her, may they both burn in hell. I looked at the torn letters and put them in an envelope and handed them to her father. Do what you think is best. He wanted to read them, I saw it in his eyes. He took the envelope and put it in his case along with the other documents they had read over with their attorney Carrick Grey.
