the party doesn't die down for a very long time, and i'm surprised that none of the neighbors have called the cops on us.

i notice someone going up the stairs, and my eyebrows furrow in an annoyed state. i thought the tape would be enough to keep people from going up there.

but on a closer inspection, it's karl going upstairs.

i consider following him, until i come to the conclusion that he's probably just using the second bathroom up there or changing into other clothes.

after about forty five minutes pass, karl still doesn't descend the stairs, so i take out my phone to text george, forgetting about the previous state i had seen him in, with his flushed cheeks and head pats.
