             kim taerin, was a senior. she was the complete opposite of her twin brother, kim taerae. she enjoyed staying at home and playing games while taerae was a social butterfly. they used to be close, but everything changed when taerae got more popular and started hanging out with the people taerin disliked, his bestfriend being kum junhyeon. taerin disliked junhyeon, for many reasons.

he was loud, obnoxious, energetic, and annoying. she couldn't bare being in the same class as him. one thing about him is that junhyeon would always annoy taerin, whether it would be about homework, games, or even going out together. but obviously she wasn't interested. she preferred more humble and introverted guys, like zhanghao. but she never really talked to him because he intimidates her.

Taerin is a well behaved student who usually arrives early to class to avoid the crowds during break times. She enjoys the quiet time to herself, but today her peaceful moment is interrupted by none other than her sworn enemy, Junhyeon. He plops down in the seat next to her, flashing his signature grin. Taerin can already sense that her mornings gonna be long . "What are you doing here, Kum Junhyeon? Go annoy someone else," she mumbles, unpacking her things from her bag. Junhyeon simply laughs and wraps his arm around her shoulders, trying to play it cool. "Ahh, Rin, don't be like that. We're friends, why wouldn't I be here?" he says, smirking. Taerin is obviously irritated, but she decides to keep her cool. "Whatever helps you sleep at night," she shrugs, hoping he'll leave her alone.

Kum Junhyeon has had a crush on Taerin since him and Taerae became friends, he'd always spot her when he would go to his friends house, which made him more curious. leading him to falling for her. on the other hand, the introverted Taerin couldn't understand junhyeon, they were too different. Junhyeon was friends with half of the school, he was easy to talk to. he also was known for his humbleness and his humor. but taerin was just known has Taeraes emo twin sister. she wasn't liked necessarily liked because she wasn't exactly the easiest to get along with.

breaking the silence, Junhyeon starts talking about the dream he had the night before. talking about all sorts of weird things he'd seen like unicorns chasing him with guns?

"you know id like it better if you'd stop speaking" she cuts him off.
"why? you don't like my voice? should i sing for you? wait wait lemme think what song hmm" he begins to think.

"oh god" her palm landing on her forehead, she was preparing to witness a goat screeching, gut wrenching, singing that's about to be unleashed from the mouth of Junhyeon. As he starts singing some random song she's never heard of, Taerin stars to realize she was very wrong about his singing capabilities. it was actually kind of.. nice? she couldn't do anything but listen quietly.

"tadaa im done, did you like it??" he brags.

"you sounded dumb. but then again, you always sound dumb." she couldn't be proven wrong, and she obviously wouldn't admit it. junhyeon was very talented, he wanted to be an idol. but no one took him seriously even after all the practice he did to get that far.

"augh my heart taerin!! its shattered" his hands placed on his chest, making dramatic facial expressions. Taerin chuckled a little, she found it kinda cute. she always found junhyeon funny but she never said it because it would've shot up his ego.

"woah did i make kim taerin laugh?? someone put this on guiness world record" he teases. she smacks him lightly in the arm and opens her history book.
"so are you just gonna sit here this lesson?" she asks, hoping for no as an answer. "of course, who wouldn't wanna sit next to the prettiest girl in this school" he says, looking right through her eyes, without breaking eye contact. "seriously Junhyeon.. how could you say that with such a straight face.." she mutters, kinda concerned. he's been flirting with her for years but it still surprises her when he says things like this. he giggles and unpacks his books from his bag as the bell rings.

Junhyeon wasn't stupid, but he acted like it because people enjoyed his dumb act. even though he always had crazy high marks, no one took his knowledge seriously. but none of it mattered to him because he wanted to be an idol, he just studied because its what his parents wanted.

Taerin watched as Junhyeon quietly answered the quiz, circling the correct answers effortlessly. she wondered why she'd never noticed how academically smart he was. Taerin just watched him do his school work until the teacher noticed.

"kim taerin, keep your eyes on your paper." said Mr.Han, everyones eyes shifting to Taerins desk leaving Junhyeon confused. "right sorry sir" she stuttered, being flustered from all the eyes on her. Junhyeon acknowledged her embarrassment and he didn't want her feeling ashamed. he purposely dropped from his seat, all the attention shifting from Taerin to him. "yo
i think i broke my ass help" the whole class started laughing at him mid test. Taerins eyes widened, she knew that he didn't do that by accident.
