"okay taerin i'm leaving" junhyeon yelled as he shut the door behind him. taerin was still half asleep so she wasn't paying attention. junhyeon grabs his bag, rushing down the stairs.

"so, what happened last night?" his grandma asked, stirring her tea with a spoon as she stares him dead in the eyes. junhyeon was confused, he grabbed the tall juice box sitting on the table then poured himself some juice as he sat down. "nothing happened halmeoni, stop asking weird questionnss" he whined as he sipped from his glass, secretly smiling to himself.

"I'm jokingg. I'm going to visit some family today so you take care of the house while i'm gone okay?" his grandma said, patting her grandson on his back as she got up from the table. "okayy" he repeated, picking up his bag and wearing his shoes. he closed the door behind him as he left.

junhyeon sat in class, waiting on gunwook. moments later, he sees taerae walking in looking tired. "hey taerae, wheres taerin?" junhyeon asked smiling ."what? you guys were together?" he responded in an confused tone as he put his bag on his chair.

"we got separated when we went in the forest, i assumed you guys were together?" junhyeon added, trying his hardest not to laugh.

"oh my god junhyeon where did she go? if my parents find out shes missing i'll literally be dead by tomorrow.." taerae mumbled as he stressfully paced around the classroom.

junhyeon was good at acting, so he kept on his worried face the whole time as he tried to comfort taerae. "dude its fine, she's probably coming back soon" junhyeon assured taerae as he patted his back. "taerins missing?" gunwook asked in shocked, then side eyeing taerae in disappointment.

the whole school day went on with no sign of taerin as everyone blamed taerae. he was dead worried for his sister, constantly asking everyone if they've seen her. he called her at multiple times, he wasn't ready to tell his parents yet. he decided to go look for her in the forest where she was last seen. searching for hours as he yelled her name but there was no response. he felt like the worst brother ever. he gave up by the time it was 11pm so he decided to go back home.

many hours later he arrived home, completely tired and nervous as he took off his shoes. he walked in, the house was dead silent, it would usually be filled with taerins loud complaining. taerae the  walked upstairs, then into her room as he sees something totally unexpected that caused him to loudly gasp.

"TAERIN?" he runs over to his sister who was casually sitting on her bed, reading a book. he squeezes taerin into a hug, startling her into dropping her book. she is confused by the sudden affection but decides to not say anything.

"I was so worried you don't understand oh my god, i searched for hours" he explains as he holds her tighter. "calm down taerae, i'm not dead. kinda wish i was but you get the point" she replies, being flattered at her brother behavior. he finally broke away from the hug, holding her shoulders tightly.

"where the hell were you? i was having a panic attack all day you stupid" he asked, rubbing his eyes to make sure he was awake.

"you literally ruined my day then ditched me in a forest, i didn't expect you to be so caring" she sarcastically mumbled while rolling her eyes.

"i just couldn't accept the fact that my little sister was so grown up so i got worried and followed you to the cinema. and about ditching you in the woods, that was completely out of impulse so I apologize for that. please forgive me rin, i'm the worst twin ever." taerae begs for forgiveness as he holds taerins hands tightly. she looked at him, seeing him so worked up and apologetic. she chuckled as she reacher her hand out and messed with his hair.

"i forgive you. but if anything like this happens again i will literally push you off a cliff." she warns him, signaling him to get out of her room. he agrees then skips his way out of taerins room from happiness. she smiles to herself as she watches him leave. taerin sighed, looking at her phone which had made a ding noise. she noticed a smile forming on her face when she saw who it was.

she quickly got up from her bed, changing into something presentable. she went downstairs and quietly shut the door behind her. her eyes met with junhyeons, who was standing outside with a bag in his hand. taerin recognized that bag, it was from her favorite restaurant.

"is that fried chicken..?!" her face lit up as she walked towards him. he smiled as he handed her the bag. "enjoyyy, i'm going to get going" he grinned as he he raised his shoulders with his hands in his pockets. "wait junhyeon don't go, let's eat together" she pouts, grabbing his arm and dragging him to the nearby park where they could sit.

"this is so gooddd, you really are the best" she said while chewing on the fried chicken. "why aren't you eating?" she added.

"oh i'm not hungry" he replied, snapping back into reality as he realized he had zoned out on taerin the whole time. "eat ittt, i hate eating by myself" she slightly pouted, handing him the rest of the food.

"finee" he chuckled, taerin smiling as she watched him eat.

"so, why did you randomly come to my house so late at night batman?" she giggled as she leaned her back on the bench.

"i just wanted to see you." he casually replied, chewing on the chicken. taerin was taken aback by his answer, her heart skipped a beat. she felt kind of shy so she quickly changed the subject.

"so, what happened at school today" she asked.

"hmm, gunwook and gyuvin were pretty worried. chaewon was yelling at taerae, it was so funny. also yujin accepted the fact that you probably died, and jeonghyeon asked me to make sure you're okay." he explained. taerin laughed at all the different ways her friends reacted, until she realized.

"wait, jeonghyeon?? dude, i cant even look at him after what happened last time." she cringed at herself as she talked about it. "hey at least you're alive and taerae almost peed his pants, were good." he reassured her. junhyeon picked up his phone, checking the time. "shit its 12:30, i need to go back home or my grandmas gonna beat my ass." he whined as he prepared himself to leave. "wait, let me walk you back home first." he walked her back home, as he was about to go, taerin stopped him.

"don't leave yet dumbass i'm not done with my goodbyes" she grabbed his arm, pulling him into a hug. "okay now you can go. see you later" she smiled as she waved at him, exchanging grins as they part ways. taerin opens the door of her house, walking back in thinking no one saw her. she suddenly jumps, seeing taerae looking at her with his arms crossed and smirking.

"bravo taerin, sneaking out to see a guy. you're growing up." he teasingly clapped before getting smacked in the head by taerin. "go away ronald mcdonald" she yelled as she walked upstairs back into her room.
