"is it just me or did i hear something." gunwook says, looking around in horror. his scary idea was quickly shut down by gyuvin, who thought he was being dumb.

"you've been watching too many scary movies man, go to sleep." gyuvin tiredly says as he yawns, unzipping his tent. taerin didn't want to admit but she also heard something coming from the woods. she didn't want to freak herself out since she wanted to enjoy camping for once.

"you good?" junhyeon asks, his arm wrapped around her shoulder. she quickly snaps out of thought and smiles, "yep, i'm fine."

"you know i can tell if something's wrong when it comes to you. you're scared aren't you? i blame gunwook, he's starting to scare me too." junhyeon lets out a little laugh, trying to inject some humor into the situation to try and lighten the mood.

"he's gonna cause me nightmares, i swear." she sighs, unzipping the unoccupied tent. she looks inside, noticing how comfortable it looks. there was around 4 blankets just spread around inside or it. there was also fairy lights, it looked so cute. taerin couldnt help but notice a couple plushies placed on the side. she looked behind her, "junhyeon, are these plushies yours?"

he looked ashamed as he answered with, "yes."

taerin noticed his sudden change in expression. she quickly got closer to him, lightly punching him in the arm. "you really think i'd be judging you? i'm disappointed in you, kum junhyeon. what are their names?" she grabbed his arm, pulling him inside the tent.

they sit together inside the tent, the brightness of the fairy lights adds a nostalgic feeling. they stare at the plushies, taerin grabs one and displays it. "what's this ones name?" it was a dinosaur plush with a bow, so cute.

"that one is terry. i've had him since i was around six years old." junhyeon excitedly says.

as taerin was about to pick up the next one, her eyes landed on a familiar looking toy. "wait, isn't this mine?"

"you gave it to me when we were younger. you said if i left you alone, you'd give me it." junhyeon chuckles, grabbing it from her hands and petting the plush on the head.

"wait, her name was-"

they looked at each other, then laughed.

"you kept it this whole time? you really like me don't you." she laughed. they suddenly made eye contact as he smiled back at her, "i guess i really do."

"AAAAAHHH"

junhyeon and taerin immediately got up, going outside to see what was going on. their cute moment had been cut off by the sudden scream of taerae.

"what the hell are you screaming for?" taerin yelled as she looked around.

"I'M NOT JOKING, THERE'S A GHOST FOLLOWING US SOMEWHERE HERE." taerae yelled again, causing yujin to crawl out of his tent in confusion as he rubbed his eyes.

"seriously taerae? you made yujin wake up you dumbass." taerin sighed, placing her palm on her forehead in disbelief. she knew her brother was crazy but not to this point. the confused yujin looked up, staring at taerae who was claiming to have seen ghosts.

taerin worriedly goes over to yujin, patting him on his back to convince him to try to go back to sleep, it was already 1:00am. he agreed, crawling back inside his tent and plopping onto his sleeping bag.

"okay, what's going on?" junhyeon asks as he tries to calm taerae down.

"so i was toasting a marshmallow, then suddenly i heard a cracking sound coming from the woods. i turn around, and i see a scary looking girl staring right back at me. i screamed and closed my eyes in fear, but when i opened them, she was gone." taerae explained. shivers went down junhyeons spine as he listened to the whole story. he tried to hide it but, he was about to piss his pants.

he slowly turned around to taerin, who was standing there with an freaked out look on her face. "well. if were fighting a ghost, we need stronger guys. gyuvin and gunwook are strong but gunwooks kind of... scared? he literally won't come out of his tent, yo what are we gonna do.." she nervously says.

"i know what we need to do, sacrifice one of us." taerae says with a straight face before getting smacked in the head by taerin. "yah do you want to die? were not sacrificing anyone, meathead. i suggest we have gyuvin as a guard dog."

the three look at each other, they all agreed and went on over inside gyuvin and yujins tent.

"what are you all doing here.." he tiredly asks as he yawns. the two boys look at taerin, signaling her to do what they practiced. she sighed before putting on the cutest, most innocent, face on.

"gyuvin? i think i heard something in the woods and i'm really scared. do you think you could guard me a little? i'm literally shaking." she said in a soft tone. taerae and junhyeon look at her with proud looks on their faces.

gyuvin is fully awake now. he stares at her with a worried look, patting her back as she pretends to be scared. he smiles, "of course, where did you hear the sound? ill guard you."

"here." she leads him out of the tent, pointing in the direction. he agrees and sits outside for a bit, while the others are praising taerin for her acting skills. "i almost feel bad but, ill reward him with snacks when were back home so it's okay." she said.

some time goes by and gyuvin calls out taerins name. she is kind of confused, not knowing why he'd need her right now. she goes up to gyuvin and sits beside him in confusion. he pulls her closer, leaning in and whispering in her ear,

"you're right. i saw a figure rushing through the woods. i couldn't see what it was but, there is definitely something lurking." her eyed widened. she looked at him with fear in her eyes, she could feel her organs twisting at this point.

"don't be scared, i'm here. come." he reaches his hand out, locking fingers with hers as he pulled her inside the tent where junhyeon and taerae were. the two were confused why gyuvin looked so serious suddenly.

"guys, taerin was right. theres actually something in the forest, and it looked like a human." gyuvin quietly says.

"what." taerae says, his head slowly turning back to look at junhyeon who was already looking at him pale as a ghost. the silence was so loud but, even though junhyeon was scared as hell, the only thing he could focus on right now was the fact that gyuvin and taerin were holding hands.

it reminded junhyeon of how he promised to protect taerin when they went camping, so he felt like a total loser.

"so.. what now?" taerae asks.

"i will go check out what the thing is in the forest." gyuvin says, as he sighs. taerin tightened her grip on his hands, "what the hell gyuvin? you're not going by yourself."

"look at those two, everyone is too scared to do anything. i just want to make sure you guys can sleep peacefully tonight." gyuvin reassured her, his mouth doing a cute line shaped smile. taerins heart melted at his selflessness, but she couldn't let him go by himself.

"if no one's coming with you, i will." taerin suddenly said. gyuvin was a little shocked but, he was happy to not be alone.

"okay then, i'm coming too." junhyeon stuttered. you could very obviously tell he was shaking but, no one made a comment.

"yeah, you guys can go." taerae commented, wrapping himself in taerins pink blanket.
