"okay boys, let's do this" taerae yells, getting a dirty look from taerin.

"we need to split into two groups for the first level" he added. almost immediately, taerin pulled junhyeons arm, holding him close as she intertwined her fingers with his. he was completely stunned, but tried to remain cool. gyuvin and taerin couldn't help but glare at each other the whole time before entering the haunted house.

junhyeon and taerin entered the first part together while taerae and gyuvin entered it with each other.

once the chaos began, junhyeon was visibly scared. he was tightly gripping onto taerins jacket as they walked through the gloomy halls. she found it cute how terrified he looked already even though they just started. taerin was too tired of life to be scared of anything but her grades so, she wasnt worrying much. as they were walking, suddenly a plate fell from the table, shattering onto the floor. also the sounds of creaking floor boards as an the demon slowly came closer to the two. junhyeons eyes widened by the horrifying sight of the actor as it started charging at them both. their screams could be heard by taerae and gyuvin, who were a couple rooms away. the duo started running while screaming, they found themselves in another room. it was decorated in skulls, blood splatters everywhere.

"what the hell.." taerin muttered, holding onto junhyeons hand as they carefully looked around the room. as he looked further, he found a cabinet. out of stupidness, he decided to open it. suddenly, a hand strikes through the wood, gripping onto junhyeons arm. taerin didn't notice until she heard his blood curdling screams from beside her. she quickly went over to see what was going on until he grabbed her arm and shot them both out of the room. taerin was enjoying herself at this point while junhyeon was screaming his lungs off. there was constant noises everywhere, screaming from the other side of the house. taerin could recognize her brother yelling his heart out as he was being chased.

"junhyeon calm down, they're just actors" taerin chuckled as she grabbed his arm as an attempt to comfort the terrified dude. "youre right. i need to calm doOOWNN-" he screams again as he quickly ran off somewhere. it was too dark for taerin to see where he went. she tried following him but unfortunately for her, no luck at spotting junhyeon. she sighed as she looked around the halls, trying to find him.

on the other side, gyuvin started off well, holding in his screams as he was jump scared by the actors. completely opposite of taerae, he had let out screams gyuvin has never heard in his life.

"bro stop screaming we need to find the key to the exit" he laughed, resting his elbow on taeraes shoulder. taerae began questioning why he ever wanted to come here, he was dead terrified of the darkness and ghosts so he was wondering who's genius idea it was to bring them here. as they were walking up the stairs, suddenly a fake spider fell from the top of the stair case, landing on taeraes shoulder. he screamed, jump scaring gyuvin himself.

"WHAT? WHAT? WHY'RE WE SCREAMING" gyuvin yelled in confusion. "THE, THE SPIDER" taerae stuttered as he tried to flick it off of him. gyuvin face palmed in disbelief, realizing he would have to hear taerae scream for another hour at this point.

as they continued walking, suddenly there was a terrifying bloody woman quickly crawling towards taerae on the floor. he ran for his life, leaving gyuvin yelling at him from behind.

"TAERAE COME BACK"

"NUH UH" he yelled back as he disappeared into the darkness.

"great" gyuvin mumbled to himself as he continued looking around. he was carefully walking backwards until he bumped into someone causing him to jump.

"oh my god gyuvin, is that you? wheres taerae? i lost junhyeon" taerin said while freaking out. "woah, woah, calm down. lets just figure out how to solve this thing so we get out of here" he answered in a cold tone as he held her hands between his before leading them into a new room. it was tiny, dark, closet filled with antiques. they squeezed themselves into the room, noticing a key on the shelf.

"we got the key-" taerin was cut off by the sudden movement of the door slamming. "shit" she yelled, hitting the door with her fist. she looked to her side at gyuvin, who was already staring at her. "great, how do we get out" he groans, trying to stretch as there is no space. they continue hitting the door as an attempt to open it but it was shut off well, they decided to take a break.

things quickly got awkward as they felt each others bodies making contact due to the awfully  tight room space. the atmosphere immediately got heated as they locked eyes. they were so close to each other that she could feel his breath on her neck. she tried to ignore it, but they way he was looking at her was making her heart race. she tried to speak, no words were able to come out. he took a step closer, and she could feel her pulse quicken. suddenly he leaned in, whispering into her ear, "i've been wanting to do this for a long time." she was about to say something until he suddenly pulled into a kiss. at first she was shocked, but then she found herself kissing him back.

she felt her heart pounding as she finally realized what was going on at this moment. they broke apart, leaving them both breathless. she stared at him in shock, her face was red.

suddenly the door was harshly pulled open, it was taerae and junhyeon. they found each other and were searching for the other two. it was too dark for them to notice their gyuvin and taerins faces but they could hear their heavy breaths.

"damn why y'all breathing so loud" taerae asked.

"no oxygen supply left, move" she stuttered as she quickly pushed her way out of the tiny room.

"we found the key, let's go" gyuvin walked out, still trying to catch his breath as he wiped the sweat off his forehead.

junhyeon and taerae looked at each other in confusion as they followed gyuvin and taerin over to unlock the gate out. they finally made it out of the first level. as they were asked if they wanted to do the second level, they quickly shut down the idea and decided it would be better to just call it a night.

the four went back into taeraes car, talking about their experiences in the haunted house.

"yeah junhyeon why'd you run like a maniac and leave me by myself" taerin scoffed. he teasingly apologized then saying, "well you and gyuvin were together and you looked for the key and we escaped, so were good."

"woah you guys sure are good at these games, i could barely breathe when i was seeing those scary ass ghosts bro" taerae chuckled.

"yeah, i could barely breathe too." gyuvin let out a little laugh, accidentally making eye contact with taerin as she immediately looked away.

"okay i'm gonna drop you losers home like the good friend i am." taerae announced as he began driving. he dropped the two dudes back at their homes, leaving just him and taerin in the car together.

"rin. my spidey senses are telling me that something happened in the house and you're not telling me." taerae worriedly asked his sister.

"nah, nothing happened." she replied in a strange tone.

"yeah that's how i know you're lying. spill, girl" 

"okay fine, but you cant make a big deal about it or ill kill you" she warned him, "gyuvin kissed m-"

"WHAT" he yelled as he immediately stopped the car to look at taerin.

"seriously taerae, this is why i didn't want to tell you" she yelled back angrily at him.

"okay i promised you i wouldn't intrude in your personal life so, i'm going to try to calm down" he replied, trying to hold in his expression.

"hey, but still you cant tell anyone. i'm only telling you because you guys are friends and since i trust you" she replied as she quietly looked outside the window.

"wow, my little sister is growing up" he dramatically said with his hand on his chest.

"pfft shut up." she slightly smiled, hitting him lightly in the arm.
