"its been around half an hour, do you think they're lost too?" junhyeon asks as he rests his head on taerins lap.

"no, i doubt he even came looking for us. worst brother award goes to kim taerae." she complains as she gently plays with his hair, admiring junhyeons pretty complexion. "have you always had that mole on your cheek?". taerin asked, slowly tracing her fingers on his skin,"its cute." she added. he couldn't help but smile as their eyes met, feeling a sense of warmth as he felt her embrace.

"you know, you're like the only person i can comfortably talk to. i feel like everyone else is just too judgmental, including gyuvin. he made fun of me that day for chewing weirdly, i'm never forgetting that... you're also very funny, i admire your humor and energy. i actually admire everything about you? i don't know but i guess you're my favorite person, junhyeon."

"you're my favorite person too."

she let out a little laugh. "okay i'm done being cheesy for today, but i still can't believe taerae would even think about crashing my first date ever, he's so annoying. now gyuvin is probably scared to even talk to me anymore" she changed the subject.

"gyuvin, do you like him?" junhyeon asked in a hesitant tone, locking eyes with taerin with a serious expression. that question surprised taerin, she didn't know what to say, she didn't really know the answer either.

there was a moment of silence until taerin couldn't handle the awkwardness anymore. "get up, we have to go since its getting dark." she said, avoiding the question. they both get up, patting the dry leaves off of their clothes. "follow me" junhyeon grabbed onto taerins wrist as he quietly lead her straight outside of the forest.

taerin was shocked by how fast junhyeon got them out of the woods, it caused her to ponder in her thoughts, "did he know the way out the whole time? did he act stupid so we could spend more time together? no way, that's a dumb assumption. maybe he just guessed our way out, yeah he probably did."

they both made it out, standing outside of the forest and into the actual park. taerin looked at her wrist, who junhyeon was still holding onto. she stressfully bit her lip as she glanced at the quiet junhyeon, he's never been so quiet. he always is energetic, making jokes and being annoying, but he just stopped.

she pouted as she suddenly clung onto his arm. "junhyeonn say something, i hate it when you're quiettt." she whined, hoping to get some sort of positive reaction out of him. after a moment of thinking, taerin came up with an idea.

"junhyeon, is your grandma okay with me staying at your house for a couple nights?" her face lit up as she slowly assembled her plan.

"yeah my grandmas chill, why?" junhyeon asked in confusion.

"i'm going to prank taerae." she smirked.

"woahh i get the plan, thats actually such a good idea." he agreed, "wait is that my phone? did taerae seriously leave it on a bench here.. bro what if it got stolen" junhyeon went over to the bench, picking up his phone. his wallpaper was different, it was a picture of taerae flipping the camera off. the duo looked at each other in disbelief as they begin their mischievous plan.

"okay, i wont show up to school tomorrow. you tell taerae that we got separated and you don't know where i am and you assumed i'm already home. I'm gonna make sure our parents beat the shit out of him"

"thanks for letting me stay here ms. kum" taerin said in a soft voice as she bowed to junhyeons grandma.

"of course, junhyeon talks so much about you. i've never seen my grandson so happy. its always taerin this, taerin that. also you can call me grandma, you're basically my daughter in law." his grandma spoke in joyful and welcoming tone. taerin was stunned by her words as her head slowly turned around, looking at the embarrassed look on junhyeons face. "ah he talks about me?" taerin smiles.

"okay grandma you've said enough" he stuttered as he grabbed taerin by the shoulders, attempting to get her upstairs.

"oh okay, see you later ms.kum, i mean grandma." taerin yelled as she was being dragged by junhyeon upstairs.

"don't do anything sinful up there!" his grandma grinned as she yelled from downstairs, she enjoyed embarrassing her grandson. "WE WON'T" junhyeon added as he rushed upstairs, shutting the door behind him.

"why are you smiling" he nervously asks.

"i don't know... why am i smiling?" taerin smiled, tilting her head as she leans closer to junhyeon, scanning his face.

"my grandma didn't mean any of that, she says weird things at night haha" he nervously laughs, his back touching the wall as he's being cornered by taerin.

"hmm, okay." she innocently smiled, "oooh what do we have here" she rushes over to look around junhyeons room.

taerin notices a guitar on his bed, with a bunch of papers. she goes closer to check it out. "are these lyrics-" she asks as she picks up some of the papers, being cut off by junhyeon as he quickly snatches the papers out of her hands.

"oh uh these are nothing, i'm working on a song but yeah its not a big deal. its for when i audition as an idol." he stuttered, holding the papers behind his back.

"you better sing me that song once you're done but, i have a question. where do i sleep?" she asks, looking around the room.

"on my bed of course." he casually replied, realizing he phrased it wrongly as he looks at taerin, her eyes being wide open. "i'm sleeping on the floor, you sleep on my bed is what i meant" he added.

"thank youuu, you're the best" she reached her arms out and hugged him. she quickly jumped on his bed before he changed his mind, comfortably laying down as she looked at the ceiling.
