as the day goes by, it quickly turns into night with taerin contemplating her life choices. she hasn't had been this embarrassed since middle school times. it was like someone pushing their finger on your bruise, she was nervous for the day after. she decides that she will wear a bathing suit at the beach, but underneath her normal clothes if at some point she gets that spark of confidence to wear one. even though taerin badly didn't want to go, she told gyuvin she'd see him there so it would just kind of make things awkward if she misses it. she sighs and puts her clothes on her bed then sits down. she gets a text from junhyeon but hesitates to answer, as she's feeling really sleepy.

taerin sighed as she put her phone down on her nightstand, as an introvert it took her alot of preparing herself mentally just to even go outside. unfortunately for her, the principal decided to make the hangout literally one day after. she decided to call it a night and go to sleep.

"oh my god taerin you dumb ass, wake up we're gonna be late again" her twin brother was continuously nudging her to wake up, before having a pillow shoved into his face. "okay ouch? i'm older than you" he says, getting all offended. to stop taerae from speaking any more, she decides to just get up to avoid arguing with him.
she had been excited to finally use some of her water proof makeup to see if it actually works. taerin put everything she needed in her bag, and went over to taerae so they could leave together. as they're in the car, suddenly taerae asks a question. "so rin, do you think i look like i have a lot of muscles" he asked, looking nervous for the answer she's about to give. taerin was surprised at the weird question. "does it matter? i think you look nice" she looks at him, hoping her answer made him feel better. but it just left her wondering why he would ask such a thing. "wait why would you ask that" she questions. "okay so theres this girl" taerin choked out of shock then looked at taerae, causing her to not focus on her driving and the car went the wrong direction.
"oh my god this is why i don't let you drive rin" taerae put his palm to his face. "hey im not the one being all lovey dovey right now, tell me her name" she asks, excited to know since her brother hasn't had a crush since second grade.
"no way, i'm not telling you" he says in a sassy tone as he crosses his arms. "you better tell me, kim taerae or im gonna crash this car" she says, trying to sound as threatening as possible. "omg fine but only if you tell me who's yours" that answer left taerin quiet, she couldn't tell him that she liked gyuvin. he's one of his best friends, it would just make things awkward. "okay lets say it at the same time" they both agreed and starting counting to three.

"MY FRIEND?" they both yell in unison, there was a moment of silence before they both started laughing at the situation. the twins couldn't believe that they had things for each others best friends, it was kind of funny. "okay taerae but i feel bad for you since her standards are all the way up in heaven" taerin giggles to herself. "hey what are you trying to say, i'm the hottest man alive" he says, sounding offended. they have already arrived at the designated place. "sorry but when kim jiwoong exists at our school, i don't think so" she says before unbuckling her belt and opening the door to get out of the car. taerin was overwhelmed by the immense waves of the hot sun, it made her more hesitant to actually continue going. as the twins go to the crowded part of the beach, taerins eyes met with gyuvins. he had just gotten out of the water so his hair was all wet. her eyes widened, seeing him shirtless. she immediately turned and walked the other way, trying to hide her red face. since the sun was in her eyes, she could barely see, causing her to bump into someone. as she looked up, it was junhyeon. "oh hi junhyeon, wheres your uhh" she points at what he's wearing, confused as to why he's not going to swim. "i told you yesterday, i cant really swim. its kind of a big fear of mine, but wheres your uhh" he points at what she's wearing, trying to mock her. "sorry man but id rather not my whole class see me half naked, ill pass" she says, crossing her arms. "makes sense. wanna get icecream?"
