Shadows

Some say the morning sunlight
Brings only new beggining
But to me the glowing skyline
Only gets my head to spinning

And to them it means sunkissed skin
And stormy skies of rolling thunder
But to me it means the shadows
Are all waking from their slumber

And to me the rising sun
Brings only hours of hazy still
And shadows tugging at my sleeve
To bend me to their will

And to me this new horizon
Will bring me only greif
And whispers of what could have been
To make my rest more breif

For the shadows only die at night
So that is when I play
But the shadows reincarnate
Come with dawn of every day
