The explosion tore through the prison. Smoke and dust was everywhere. Voices flooded the area as panicked Amaryls tried to grasp hold of the situation.

"What caused the explosion?"

"How did they find this place?"

"Defense plan B. All gaurds report to area of disturbnce. Prepare plan C, just in case."

"What was that thing that came through?"

Accro was unsure of what happened. Why would anyone break into this place? Moreover, how did they find it on their own? He remembered that they would render their captive unconcious until they returned. It was clear this person knew something about the Amaryls. Had they come for revenge or were they working for someone who did? His train of thought was interupted by another explosion. This time one that opened a hole within the prison. Accro could hear Lili screaming. She was afraid. No doubt she thought the worst. "Relax. Both of you." said a voice. Nicholas. Accro calmed down a bit. "Can you sense anything?" They both concetrated their Anima Petere. Nothing. No hostile intent of any sort. Accro was ceratin now that they had a grudge against these people. "No they don't." Nicholas said. "Use your Anima again Accro, but on the Amaryls." He did. And was shocked. There was no feeling of dread or death. Nothing. Whether it was being hidden or not was unsure, but he felt no hostility towards then either. This was confusing. Was there another reason? Perhaps some special plant that grew here they wanted. The list was endless. Through the scuffle of noise that swamped the panic, footsteps could be heard approaching the prison. A hostile presence could now be felt. "Everyone get back." Nicholas said. They did. As they did, the doors exploded. Accro donned his armor of earth as he saw someone enter his cell. "Relax," the man said as he came into view. "My name is Ko. I came to get you out." Accro was confused but now wasn't the time for asking questions. That hostile intent he felt wasn't from this guy, it was from the oncoming reinforcements. Lili and Nicholas joined them as they came outside. "How many Accro?" Nicholas asked. Accro concentrated his thoughts towards the vinrations on the ground. He could hear them faintly now, the sounds of confusion as to what happened. The anger of being duped so easily. Through the very vibrations he felt their rage. He was afraid. He looked at his master. "More than I think we can even handle."

"Get Lili out of here. As thanks for saving us, I shall assist this man in holding them off." Accro bowed and picked Lili up. She seemed worried about the priest. "Don't worry." Accro said to her. "My master is strong." Now that they were alone, Nicholas looked at Ko. "You should leave as well. They are going to need help." Ko looked at him with adamant curiosity. "I can't sense anything from this guy. Not even Banchi. Yet, something tells me he's strong. Very strong." He was about to give his opinion when he spaced at random for a few moments. He came to quickly, nodded at the priest and left. As he left, the shock troops of the Amaryls had just gotten to the area. "They were probably at glance, more than a thousand of them. They saw him standing among the rubble.

"Is that the recent captive?"

"I heard this one has no power."

"What is he wearing?"

"He has no weapons. Does he think he can beat us?"

"I think not all the lights are on upstairs for this one."

One woman stepped forward. She was dressed in velvet red, wore heels and carried a whip. She pointed her whip at Nicholas. "Where are the other prisoners?" No answer. "Hey you! Male! Answer me!" Still no answer. She raised her hand to attack. A swift wind. she stopped, much to the shock of her companions, and collapsed. She was knocked out. The others women were become uneasy. Nicholas raised his right hand. "Kuroha no Dansu."

Lili felt a jolt of pain through her body. Accro felt she was uneasy. "You okay?" She nodded. She already knew the cause of that pain. She was also worried about the priest. She wasn't sure why, but she was just worried. Up ahead, more troops could be seen preparing a blockade. It was a fragrance, no doubt poisonous or acidic to the skin should one pass through. Lili saw the mist. "Keep going." she said. Accro knowing that he could protect only himself, was concerned for Lili. "But Lili..." She touched his face. "It's okay. Just keep going." Accro sealed himself in his armor of sand and held his breath as he prepared to run through the mist. "Memory Link." said a gentle voice. Accro looked down and though he couldn't see her clearly through the mist, he felt as though she were safer than ever. As they emerged from it, he looked and saw that she was fine. Ko caught up to them. "Man these broads are tough!" He was tired. Accro was concerned about something. Knowing what the Amaryls were capable of he was unsure why this man wasn't at least suffering in some to the many poisons he was sure he came through. He felt dizzy. The mist. It was a sleeping gas of some kind. He knew this wasn't a good sign. Everything was becoming fuzzy in appearance. Then finally, everythng went black. Ko was getting annoyed. "I ain't about carrying you. Hey princess, why don't you fight? Don't for one second think I don't you can't defend yourself." Lili looked afraid. As though by him saying so created a burden so great, the very weight was crushing her. She was speechless.
