your mom shows her your baby photos (requested)

"Mom, we're here!" You called out as you stepped into your mom's house with Ryujin's hand wrapped in yours.

You heard footsteps trailing from the kitchen and into the front room and right away, you and Ryujin were embraced by your mom with huge hugs.

"Y/N, Ryujin! I'm so happy you decided to come over today! How have you two been?"

"Great!" Ryujin answered, making your mom's eyes light up.

"That's great to hear! I made some snacks. Why don't you two come into the kitchen with me and we can talk some!"

"Sure." You said as you and Ryujin followed behind your mom.

You were met with the delicious aroma of cookies as you stepped into the kitchen.

You and Ryujin grabbed one from the pan and took a seat at the table by your mom.

You're just here to see your mom as it feels like it's been too long since you've had the chance to do that.

But your mom had something up her sleeve for today.

Your relationship with Ryujin is getting serious and she's seen your mom a few times but all the times she's been here, she's never seen your baby pictures.

And your mom intended to change that today.

"Ryujin, honey. Would you like to see something?"

"Of course." Ryujin smiled.

Your mom got up and stepped out of the room momentarily, only to return a moment later with photo albums in her hands.

"I can't believe I just realized today that you haven't seen Y/N's baby pictures yet!"

"Oh, no," You groaned as your mom set the photo album on the table and opened it up.

Ryujin giggled and scooted her chair closer to your mom's as they started to look at pictures of you when you were little.

"There's this one of her at her first birthday party with cake smeared all over her face. I think she wore more of it than she ate."

Ryujin laughed in response.

"There's this one of her and her favorite doll, sleeping in her bed."

"Aww, Y/N, you were so cute, baby," Ryujin said as she playfully pinched your cheeks.

"Oh, here's her in the bathtub."

"Mom!" You said before dropping your head onto the table with a groan.

"Wasn't she so cute?" Your mom asked proudly. "This is her in the pool for the first time! And her sleeping with the puppy we had when she was young."

Ryujin grinned at the adorable photos.

"Her eating bananas for the first time. Again, she wore them instead of eating them, I think. Oh, look, another one of her in the bath!"

"I hate this. This is so humiliating." You grumbled before standing up.

"Y/N, honey, everyone was a baby at some point. I'm sure Ryujin has photos like these!"

"Yeah? Ryujin, where are yours? Can I see them?" You asked with a smirk, knowing you'd be able to tease her back.

"Nope, not ever, baby." She said, smirking right back at you.

You rolled your eyes, making her laugh as she turned back to your mom.

"There's her with her grandfather. They used to watch cartoons together all the time. Oh, he adored her so much."

You smiled as you reflected on those times.

"Oh, here's her with her first paint set!"

Ryujin shook her head with a smile.

"Fantastic art skills, baby. What is that supposed to be exactly?"

"Oh, shush." You said as you stuck your tongue out at her, making her do the same back to you.

And as your mom continued to show her your baby photos and you continued to be embarrassed, you eventually became a little more relaxed.

Because you loved seeing how close she was getting with your mom.

That meant the world to you.

Besides, someday you'd get your revenge.

If she didn't want to show you her baby pictures, you'd just ask her mom to show them to you.

And then you could tease her just as much.
