Lyra and Caroline were talking while carrying some bags in their hands. It is quite clear that they have been shopping for hours.

"I can't believe you did that Ly. I mean you are not like that" Caroline laughed.

"I can't believe you Blondie. You are smiling and laughing with the person whose husband is gonna kill your best friend". Damon spat.

"Damon is right Caroline. Why did you go with someone like her? Don't you have no shame". Matt spoke up which upset Caroline.

"Yeah Caroline. If you want to go on shopping you could have told me. Bonnie and I would have come with you". Elena nodded.

"Oh please! In her defense she didn't know who I am. If anyone asked about me, she would have told them that I'm just moved here because my husband thought I should travel more often. Beside considering you are sleeping with the man who used her as a blood bag, who abused her, I think Caroline has more than right to stay away from you. And she even died because of you doppelganger. You have no right to tell her what she should do. Caroline is better without you. She is safe with me." Lyra stated looking at Caroline.

"You mean it?" Caroline asked in a small voice. " You mean it that I can stay with you "

Lyra gave Caroline a soft smile."Of cause little rabbit. I love you. There is no way that you can get rid of me now."

Caroline went over where Lyra was sitting and hugged her. For the first time ever Caroline felt that someone had her back.  When they pull away Lyra made Caroline sit beside her. 

"Well, he said that he doesn't take no for an answer. So, I said 'yes' and didn't turn up. He looked like a fool." Lyra struggled her shoulders.

"That's cruel you know". Lyra smirked.

"I wouldn't know. Beside dating was kinda not acceptable at that time."

"Why?"

"Power"

"Power!"

"Hm." Lyra gave a tight smile. "I already told you about my world. In my world I'm the queen."

"That's great. You can do what ever you want. You have people to follow you. Why you look like you don't like it?". Lyra smiled at Caroline's innocent statement.

"If you put it that way, well it's quite nice I suppose. But unfortunately it doesn't work that way little rabbit."

"I don't understand."

"If you want to wear the crown then you must carry its burden too.  Almost no one comes to me without purpose. No one care about me genuinely. They care for the power I hold. As long as they can get a benefit they would follow me. Obey me. The world is selfish. I learned it a very long time ago. Some tried to make me their pawns. Some tried to throw me away. But I  taught them how terrine I can be. How  dangerous woman I am.  I don't start to fight back almost immediately. I can be bit late. But when I start fighting back, I make sure no one who stood against me is alive". Lyra said. Her silver eyes flashing golden.  

The gang shivered looking at Lyra who is currently cuddling with Klaus without any care of the world. They have to act fast other wise Lyra will kill them.

Lyra looked at Caroline whose mouth was hang open. She smirked. "Come. Didn't you say who wanna see my home".

The screen went black for a few seconds and when it came back Klaus and Stefan were in Smoky Mountains. And Stefan was carrying Ray on his back.  Klaus was taunting Stefan.
