Klaus had put Rebekah back in her coffin.

"So, are you gonna wake her up?" Lyra asked.

"I don't know love. I want to. But."

"You are scared."

"Do you think me as monster ?"

"Oh! Nik" Lyra hugged her husband. "Ofcause not darling. Killing your mother was an accident. Wasn't it? You were betrayed. Your emotions were highlighted. You just reacted to pain and the betrayal  that your mother caused. So, don't you dare to call yourself a monster Nik. And to remind you I have a hand in my mother's death as well."

"You know little star, it's not your fault. Anastasia had it coming."

Lyra looked at her father. "You have never called her by her full name. What changes now?"

Regulus sat next to his daughter,  nudging Klaus out of the way. He wrapped his arm around her, and Lyra curled into the warmth of her father's embrace.

"After what she had done to my daughter, I don't think I can ever love her as the same."

"But it's not her fault. I- I pushed her away, dad. I never tried to understand her." Lyra muttered, her gaze fixed on the ground. Regulus gently lifted her chin and met her gaze, their eyes reflecting each other's.

"Did even let you in, my little star? hmm? She just gave birth to you and threw you aside. How many men left her room while you sat alone at the dining table, waiting for your mother to return. Had she ever come to pick you from the station? Had she asked about your school? Had she ever hugged you or listened to any thing that you had to say? She just ordered you around. Do this? Do that? You were her daughter not a someone for her to order around."

Lyra was sobbing quietly. "How do you know?"

Regulus smiled sadly. "You are my daughter darling. My life. My magic is connected to you. I see you darling. I feel every bit of your soul. I just couldn't come to you sooner."

"Was it you then? Was it you who sent those fireflies? Was it you who gave me warmth when I'm crying alone. Was it you who led me to Nik that day? W-w-was it you who s-s-saved me t-that day?"

Regulus kissed his daughter's head. "Yes, darling. I wasn't beside you. But I was watching you."

"Don't leave me daddy. Please!"

"Never again"

"Why she is crying brother?" Kol whispered.

"Her life with her mother was not the best." Klaus sighed.

"I don't like her crying" Kol muttered.

"Me too uncle Kol/ brother"

"Thank you. Thank you for coming to my life. Without you, I would be nothing."

All the Mikaelson siblings lowered their gazes, shame evident in their silence, each silently vowing never to abandon their brother again.

Lyra smirked and Klaus sighed.

"Here" Klaus handed her his black card. "Have fun" Lyra kissed his cheek and ran off.

"You know her very well." Draco smirked.

At night, Klaus sat peacefully on the couch, sketching. Suddenly, someone snatched his sketchbook away. He growled, ready to lash out, but when he saw who it was, his expression softened into a rare, heartwarming smile. The only person in the world capable of making the Original Hybrid smile like that was now frowning as she examined his drawing,
