The wolves with torches dropped their flames and the fire spread fast for the land was dead and dry. They pounced on our friends and family tearing them to pieces. This was a losing battle. We would take down one of them and 12 more would take its place. Loki was focused on Alpha but he was attacking the wolves who still held their burning flames. The wolves in our pack who still lived were injured and burned and barely able to stand. Loki's pack had barely a scratch. Corpses burned with flame. Loki pounced at Alpha who was distracted and unprepared for the attack. All other fights stopped; it was between Loki and Alpha now.They circled each other teeth bared. Loki made the first move and rashly leaped at Alpha and tried to bite his throat Alpha jumped to the side and kicked Loki mid leap knocking him to the ground Alpha leaped on his opponent and sank his fangs into his throat. Loki shook and bit Alpha's leg, Alpha yelped in pain giving Loki the chance to throw him away he quickly got back to his feet and they resumed circling. Loki slashed at Alpha's flank but he managed to dodge the blow. Alpha growled tremendously and leaped and sank his fangs deep into Loki's wound in his neck. Loki yowled in pain and bit hard on his opponent's face, his fangs sinking deep into Alpha's eyes. Alpha hung on to Loki's throat and jerked his head this way and tried to damage him. Loki took the chance and threw Alpha to the ground. Alpha bounced and rolled and got shakily to his feet; he still had a chunk of Loki's throat dangling, dripping from his jaws. He could not see Loki charging towards him but he did feel the teeth sink into his neck, and with a sickening crunch Loki broke his neck and with that the fight was over.
