Astrid stared at her, "oooooh no, no no no no no, we can keep them Juniper!" She glared at him " you called us cowards for leaving Alpha now you are fine with us abandoning CHILDREN!!! Who is the true coward?" She spat the last word like it tasted foul in her mouth. "Go then, leave the children to die and go fight a losing battle on your own." She turned to the beast and walked up to it. She leaped up and put her front legs on the thing. Juniper heard someone scream inside it but then one of the small children opened the side and slowly stepped out. It was the girl. They heard another high pitched scream from instide the beast. "Whos a pretty girl?" it spoke slowly and they could understand it Juniper motioned for her to climb on her back and soon the little boy came out they looked to be about the same age he walked over to the girl and spoke "what are you doing Gwen?!" The girl responded by saying "look Steve, mommy and daddy are dead, the puppy wants to help."The boy slowly walked over and Juniper let him onto her back and soon both children were astride. "Juniper, wait." She turned teeth bared " i won't follow a coward." and then she took off running.
