Astrid woke his heart racing, something was wrong, someone or something was watching him. Off in the distance he heard Junipers howl when suddenly he heard an ugly howl he'd never heard before. "AWWWWWOOoOoooooOOOO!!!" He realized it must have been one of the children. At least now he knew where she was but so did anything else lurking in the shadows. He was too focused on the howls he didn't see when the shadows split.

Juniper was alive but felt dead at the same time. Her mind was trapped in an empty cave full of fog; she could sense something lurking in the clouds waiting for her to drop her guard. "Hello?" She said her voice was weaker than she would have wanted even uttering a word made her feel dizzy. A deep voice cackled in the dark. "You are all alone pup, and you will be for the rest of eternity." She heard claws scraping on stone. ScrAAaaaaAAAPPEE the sound made her fur stand on end. "So small and frail." it taunted. "I will almost miss you. I will make this quick." Juniper spotted two red eyes glared at her. "Goodbye little pup." It leapt claws outstretched.

By the time it finished Juniper was left bleeding dying on the floor. "no." she gasped as it walked away. She coughed and blood poured out of her throat. It turned "still got some fight left I see, you will make a fine midnight snack."

It awoke, the children were still sleeping. It was happy, it had never inhabited a wolf before it was new and fun. It looked around ready to start a new life, one of a powerful wolf. That was when it made itsbbiggest mistake it turned to the children. "Those would be tasty." suddenly pain sprouted in its skull. The Juniper not Juniper growled "what is going on!" deep in its mind it heard a voice strong and defiant "Get out." she growled "How are you doing this, you should be dead." the pain was growing it shook its head trying to clear the pain, it was unbearable it's vision blurred and went black.

They were back in the cave Juniper stood uninjured; her fur changed from snow white to midnight black. "NO, HOW, I KILLED YOU this is impossible!!!" yelled the beast, all composure was gone. "you have no idea what's possible, When the moon is on your side." Light blasted away from her. Pure white blinding light. The beast recoiled burned by the sudden brightness. Blisters boiled on its skin, it howled in pain and tried to run but the stone leapt up and trapped it in a cage "Now" said Juniper "I hope I don't have to tell you this twice, get out of my head." It turned to her anger and pain in its eyes. It slowly spoke"Very well evocatore della luna" It turned to smoke and the fog lifted. "Summoner of the moon" She thought "That fits"

The real Juniper woke covered in sweat, her fur had turned as black as midnight. She looked up to see the children huddled in a corner as far aways from her as possible. She stood and slowly approached them. She walked right up to Gwen and licked her cheek, a sign of friendship they had developed. Gwen suddenly yelled "HA, see Steve I told you it was her." Steve did not look convinced. "Then why was she growling and baring her fangs last night and looking like she wanted to eat us!" He paused and took a deep breath ready to make more points. "And why did when I woke up the cave was flooded with moonlight? It encircled her like it was trying to eat her!" He said. Gwen interrupted, " or it was protecting her from evil so she is still our friend now stop it Steve." She walked up to Juniper and hugged her. Juniper licked her cheek And Gwen swung up onto her back she walked up to Steve and motioned for him to climb on her back he hesitantly got on and they ran out of the cave.
