PERCY POV

Ah, good old Italia. My Italian roots are easily tracible, even if it was a secret; Italian Banker Family in the Renaissance, about 300 years later, moves to America in the 1750s, and now I'm here.

As we walked, I felt like I was being followed. Every time I looked at a rooftop, I swear I could see a figure in white robes running along them. When we entered the palazzo, my eyesight started going haywire. Everyone except the hunters was a dark blue, along with nearly everything else. There were haybales that glowed white. Guards were glowing red. The hunters glowed blue. People were there that weren't really there. "We should split up." Said Athena. Everyone agreed. If we found something, we report back here and inform the others.

We each went in groups of 2, with Athena and me in the same group. It was saddening. She reminded me so much of Annabeth, yet she looked so different. As we walked, my vision kept going crazy. Everything was glowing. Suddenly, Athena pulled me into a dark alley.

"Kiss me." She commanded. I looked in surprise. "I'll explain later, just do it."

As we kissed, I felt a presence enter the alley, then quickly leave. We just kept making out in the alley. She pulled me closer, and I did the same. My senses eventually came back a few seconds after we broke. "Eros has been trying to bed me. Italy is in his territory, where he is strongest." She spoke. It made sense. Eros wouldn't try to compete with me.

"You're welcome, I guess." I laughed. After about 2 more hours of searching, we returned to the palazzo.

We all shared what we found, which was nothing. Great. I looked over and saw a golden path in my weird new vision. It was like I was eagle-eyed. Eagle Vision. Has a nice ring to it. "Guys, I see something. This way." I said, following the trail. We followed it for a good few miles, until finally, we came to a building blocked off by guards.

As we approached the building, they put their hand up, signaling we couldn't go in.  We went around the corner and made a plan.

At nightfall, I scaled the side, making sure to go to the highest part of the building. It wasn't that tall, maybe only 20-40 feet above the ground. I grabbed the ledge and waited for the guard to turn around.  When he did, I ran to a tarp thing that was glowing white.

I hid, and when he came into reach, I stabbed his neck with the hidden blade, his body going limp as I dragged it in

I hid, and when he came into reach, I stabbed his neck with the hidden blade, his body going limp as I dragged it in.

I snuck out of the tarp and parkoured my way down the side, taking out a guard with the Phantom Blade. I shot another guard with the Berserker Blade, making him aggressive toward his allies.

I saw an open window to the part which looked the most guarded. As I entered, I saw a man doing what looked like paperwork sitting at a desk. The room was decorated with multiple Red Crosses, which I remembered from the Crusades report as the symbol of the Knights of Templar.

"[Well, well, well.]" Said the man in Italian. "[If it isn't the descendant of the great bastard, Ezio Auditore]."

"[Do I know you?]" I asked.

"[You should. I'm the Banker for the Templars in Firenze.]

"[Is that supposed to mean something?]"

He just chuckled and signaled for the guards. 12 guards burst through the door with weapons in hand. I knew I couldn't win, but I could run. I quickly pulled my mask over my mouth and nose and threw a smoke bomb, which quickly filled the room with coughs. I leaped out the window, but not before grabbing some documents, and double assassinated the 2 guards out front, making my way in every direction.

Guards were everywhere. I managed to hide in a haystack, while the guards swarmed around me. They finally left and I managed to escape to the rendezvous point.

I explained what happened and we made our way to a carriage that was heading for Venezia.

This was gonna be fun.
