ARTEMIS POV

Athena was acting strangely whenever me and Perseus talked. She would get a look on her face that reminded me of a wolf when its territory was being invaded. Odd.

As we talked, he told me of this new 'sixth sense' he'd acquired.

He called it "Eagle Vision", which I found slightly hilarious. When we arrived in Venice, I was taken aback by how much water there was. Being a daughter of Zeus, I was kinda worried it would grab me and pull me under. But that fear quickly dissipated when Perseus put a hand on my shoulder.

We once again split into groups, in a hope to find more interesting stuff. This time, it was me and Perseus, much to Athena's dismay.

As we walked, I saw multiple males look at me in a disgusting way. But they all looked the other way when Perseus wrapped an arm around my waist. If it was any other boy, I would've stabbed him on the spot. But I felt comfortable in his embrace, which did nothing to help my suppressed feelings.

I played along and put my head on his shoulder, causing him to blush slightly. This action made a group of guys glare at him. He just pulled me closer.

As we walked, we talked about how he was doing in the Hunt. The pranks had stopped, and the hunters had started to view him as a brother, rather than a prankable male. I smiled at this, but it quickly flattened at the next question.

"What happened in Florence?"

He stiffened, knowing exactly what I was talking about. He explained the situation with Eros trying to bed Athena. What struck a nerve, though, was when he mentioned the kiss. He saw it as nothing more than helping a friend, but I knew better.

I briefly considered pulling him in and kissing him, but quickly decided against it. I was an eternal maiden, after all.

I could tell we were being followed by those guys, so I decided to get back at Athena. "Touch my ass." I ordered. He looked shocked before realizing what I was doing. It was a strange yet wonderful sensation. And he barely touched it. I told him to actually grope it. And he did. I moaned softly as I felt his hand move along my ass, taking it in his hand, and squeezing.

We eventually got on a gondola, which seemed fun. Luckily, there was an automaton driver. Hephaestus had robots all over the world. As he sat, I just sat on his lap. He looked confused, but he understood. We were still being followed. I lightly grinded against him, feeling his pants bulge up. I smirked. I may have sworn off men, but no one is stealing my Guardian.

He continued to grope me as I grinded, encouraging me. I felt proud, yet I wasn't sure why. Here I was, Artemis, goddess of the Hunt, practically giving my sworn Guardian a lap dance because I was jealous.

So now you admit it, said the all too familiar voice of Aphrodite in my head.

It's not like that, I returned.

You sure? The guys are long gone and here you are, grinding on Perseus.

Fuck you, Aphrodite.

After we docked, I hopped off his lap, slightly blushing.

We exchanged a look, signifying that this would stay between us, but I had a sneaking suspicion that Athena would find out. I smiled at the thought of her jealous face.

We kept looking around at the Carnival, courtesans coming and putting their hands all over Perseus.

"Perseus---" I started. He looked at me, shoving off the women. "Percy." He corrected.

"Percy, try to stay focused." I spoke. "Like how you were when you grinded on me?" He teased into my ear, causing my face to turn a bright shade of gold. "Kidding." He quickly added.

I could feel eyes on my ass, but not multiple from a distance; one pair up close. I laughed and turned. "If you want, we could have a bit of fun on the ride home." I said, lightly squeezing his ever-growing erection. He groaned and looked at me with a hunger in his eyes, yet it quickly died down as he moved my hand. "No, you're a maiden and I'm supposed to uphold that, remember?" He said, too serious for my liking. I quickly apologized and we continued walking in silence.

I felt so ashamed of myself. I was taking advantage of him, and I wasn't even the one to stop it. I have to get my emotions in check.

We eventually caught up with the hunters, who were skeptical as to why we weren't exactly in our normal, conversational selves at the moment. We quickly got them to shut up without revealing the truth.

What did you do? Athena's voice rang out in my head.

Nothing that concerns you.

I know what happened. Well, not really, but a bit of it.

And you're not getting anything out of me.

Okay, then. I'll just get it from Percy.

I GAVE HIM A LAP DANCE, OKAY!?

......I'm sorry. WHAT?

I gave him a lap dance to get back at you.

All I did was kiss him. You gave him a lap dance.

I know, I know. I'm sorry.

For what? You realize how hard it is to touch THE Perseus Jackson, much less give him a lap dance.

I realized what she said and took small pride in my actions.

So, are we good?

Yes, Artemis. We're good.

I sighed in relief. If we weren't, this would've been one LONG carriage ride.

So, what do you think. I'm thinking this may turn into a lemon chapter later on, but I'm not very good at it, so I'm trying this now. Also, instead of making Annabeth a bitch, I thought I would make it a bit better.
