Once enough of the pizza had been eaten and everyone was possibly a little bit too much into their respective drinks, Morgan decided it was the perfect time to load up Mario Kart. With Ohio insisting on Morgan using the dodgy controller with the drift, and Alex pouting when Ohio picked Princess Peach before he could, it was quite clear what kind of game it was going to be. Despite being the most sober, Alex periodically ended up in last place, insisting that he had been given the dodgy controller instead of Morgan. Which evidently wasn't true based on the one time Morgan ended up in second place, with Barnaby sliding in to win that particular race with a smug grin.

The two friends got incredibly competitive, leaving Alex and Ohio to do their own thing as Morgan and Barnaby started to try and sabotage each other. Their challenges got more intense, ending in two of them sitting upside down on the couch with their controllers behind their legs. That one Alex actually ended up in the lead for a solid fifteen seconds, until Ohio's blue shell sent him flying. However Ohio did manage to place ahead of Barnaby on that one, making the hero frown until Ohio started littering kisses over his face until he broke down into giggles.

Alex's plan for getting Morgan to lose was much simpler. And involved getting them drunk. When Morgan finished their beer Alex tried to replace it with whiskey mixers, earning more intense glares from Barnaby. Until Morgan fought back by jumping onto Alex's lap, moving their head so that they were constantly between Alex and the screen. Which earned tickles from Alex. Which had Morgan collapsing in a fit of laughter, trying to fight off Alex and losing the controller in the process.

'Jeez,' Ohio chuckled. 'If you didn't want to play anymore you just had to say.'

'Oh please,' Morgan said, looking under the couch for the controller. 'Like I would back out of a tournament. Besides, I was winning.'

'M-m-maybe Alex has hidden it,' Barnaby suggested. 'S-s-so they can't lose a-anymore.'

Alex scowled, 'Are you implying that I would hide from a challenge? Have you met me?'

Barnaby hummed, looking at Alex coolly again. Before he could reply though Ohio handed Barnaby another drink, pressing a kiss to his forehead as he did so. Morgan shuffled to sit up properly, not bothering to move their legs from Alex's lap. 'Okay seriously, where did you put the controller?'

'I didn't take it!'

'One of you is probably sitting on it,' Ohio said, perching on the arm of the couch and wrapping an arm around Barnaby's shoulders.

Morgan started feeling around the cushions on the sofa, while Alex refused to move. 'As entertaining as this is,' Alex said, 'how about a movie?'

Ohio jumped onto the suggestion before Morgan could argue anymore, pulling up the library to throw out suggestions. Barnaby insisted on everyone having some water and some of the snacks the boys had bought while Morgan and Ohio began to argue over movie choices.

'The Magic Mouse stuff is always fun,' Ohio suggested.

'Morgan's watched them all way too much,' Alex said, to Morgan's protests.

'Then an action film?'

Barnaby shook his head, 'M-Morgan criticises a-a-all the fight scenes now.'

'No that's an Alex thing,' Morgan said.

'That y-y-you do too.'

Alex perked up at that, 'Wait you do?' Morgan shrugged, refusing to look at any of them as the others continued suggesting options.

'S-s-sci fi.'

Ohio scowled, 'Last time Morgan watched a space film they tried recreating their laser guns.'
