Everything that has happened Mackenzie was lost in her thought and didn't really bring anything else up and she did not know how to ever tell her best friend she was with Billy in the way she wanted. She was afraid that she would lose her best friend all together and she didn't want that. So therefore, she sat quietly and watching Steve flick the lighter that was in with her head on his shoulder. Her eyes slowly closed and opened but she didn't fall asleep. She lifts her head and looks up at her brother to make sure that he was okay and when she saw that he was she saw Max make her way up the ladder to sit with him. Mackenzie smiles she knows that they like each other and they don't know it themselves.

After waiting for the Demogorgon to come out of the shadows it seemed like forever they hear the low growl from outside, Mackenzie gets up and looks out one of the windows that were covered up. She slowly moved forward and Steve got up behind her and looked out the same window. Mackenzie and Steve both look at each other and Dustin looks out the window.

"You see him?" Dustin asked the older pair of the group and the look at each other again. They turned back to look at Dustin.

"No." Steve answered him and quickly looked back out the window.

"Lucas, what's going on?" He asks looking up at the other kids of the group on top of the bus.

"I've got eyes ten o'clock! Ten o'clock!" Lucas yells, as his voice cracks a bit. Mackenzie looks in the direction that her little brother and she sees him and she looks at Steve.

"Uhm guys, he is not taking the bait!" Mackenzie all but yells out. "Why is he not taking the bait?" She asks looking at it not taking the bait.

"Maybe he's not hungry." Dustin tells her and she shakes her head and then she realizes that they don't want the raw meat.

"Maybe he is sick of cow." Steve tells the group and then he suddenly stands up and looks at Mackenzie and that is when she looks at him and shakes her head rapidly.

"NO!" she yells at her best friend knowing what he is about to do. He grabs his bat by the door and Mackenzie grabs his hand. He throws the lighter to Dustin.

"Get ready!" He tells the young boy and Dustin looks at him as if he is crazy.

"NO! You are not going alone." Mackenzie says grabbing his arm and he shakes his head at her. Not wanting his best friend to get hurt. "No, I am going with you." She says grabbing the crowbar that she had found an hour earlier. They both quietly get off the bus and it closes behind them.

"Wait what the hell are they doing?" Lucas yells down at Dustin and he doesn't look up, he stands there staring out the window of the older teens.

"Expanding the menu." Dustin says as max climbs down watching her brothers girl out there with those creepy ass looking things.

Steve starts yelling at them and that gets their attention. Mackenzie stays close to Steve, she is scared but she doesn't show it.

"Mackenzie 3 o'clock!" Lucas yells after his older sister, Mackenzie turns and hits him making it squeal and back away. "Guys come on! Come back!" Lucas yells and they go running back only for Mackenzie to trip and fall. Her ankle twists in the process.

"Ow! Fuck!" she says and Steve comes back and grabs her and helps run back to the bus and pushes her inside and him following closely behind her. Lucas climbs down and grabs his sisters hand.

"Are you okay?" He panics looking at her and she shakes her head with tears in her eyes.

"Yes. I am fine. Fuck my ankle hurt." She says pulling off her shoes and notices that her ankle is swollen. Lucas gasps and so do the others.
