Hello people, it just dawned on me that there have been 10 chapters of this story already. That's crazy to me. Anyway, my summer so far has been both fun but boring bc I'm usually home alone, which gives me more time to write stories. Also, Happy Very Late Pride Month!!!!
Enjoy this chapter!! <3 (I'm writing this at 12:30 am, so sorry if it's kinda bad.)
...
Tommy still didn't know what he was going to order. Techno had pulled into the Mcdonalds drive thru and there were two cars in front of them before they got to order.
"Do you both know what you want?" Techno asked, looking at Tommy and Wilbur. Wilbur enthusiastically nodded his head while Tommy slightly shook his head.
"I haven't been to McDonalds for years, I have no clue what to get." Tommy felt embarrassed to say that, but he knew that it wasn't his own fault. Techno nodded understandingly and pulled the car forward more, now there was only one car in between them and ordering their food.
"Don't worry Tommy," Wilbur announced, "I know what to order for you." He had a maniacal smile and Tommy was slightly scared.
Techno pulled up once more and the three of them were up in front of the electronic menu with a speaker right next to it. Techno order their food after Wilbur had told him what he wanted. Tommy didn't really understand what the older boys had ordered for him, but he felt a small prick of excitement in his stomach.
The car drove for a little while until Tommy saw that they were at a park. The three boys hopped out of the car and walked over to a pavilion where they sat down.
Tommy was handed a red box with two yellow loops at the top. There was a smile on the side. He looked at the two older boys, "What the hell is this?" He gestured to the box sitting in front of him.
"That, my friend, is a happy meal." Wilbur looked pleased with himself; Tommy did not know why. He opened the box and there was another box inside. He pulled that out and saw that it was full of chicken nuggets. There were some fries in there too. The food smelled pretty good, and Tommy was pretty hungry, so he devoured his food.
Techno and Wilbur were talking about something that didn't interest Tommy. Something about school.
The three of them sat there, Tommy chewing on his apple slices, Wilbur ranting about some random thing, and Techno taking a sip of his fifth coffee of the day.
...
It was about twenty minutes later; they all had finished their food. Tommy had wanted to walk around the park, so the older two walked with him.
There was a creek with a path winding around the surrounding area with it. Tommy saw a bunch of ducks swimming around. There was a fence separating him and the creek, with trees behind the small patch of water. He looked up into the sky and saw that the sun was bright and there were a few clouds in the sky.
There was also a playground that he saw a few kids playing at. There were wood chips that the playground sat on. There were also benches on the border of the wood chips. On the benches on the side, there were some bored looking parents, some with strollers, some on their phones, others watching their kids to make sure they didn't get hurt.
Now that Tommy was looking closer to the playground, he saw two people that look familiar. Tubbo and Ranboo!
He wanted to go say hello to them, but he didn't know how approach them. Tommy felt like if he walked up to them, then he would annoy them for distracting them from what they were doing before. He felt like he was going to be a nuisance to them, but he wanted to run around the playground with them so bad.
He, Wilbur, and Techno walked passed the playground. Tommy was silently hoping that the two boys his age would see him and call him over.
And today, the world was on his side. The two boys looked over and started waving, calling Tommy's name.
He waved back and them and looked at Techno and Wilbur. They nodded and the three of them walked over to the two boys.
"Hey Tommy!" Tubbo said, running up to him, dragging Ranboo with him. "Hello!"
"Hey, we were just eating lunch!" Wilbur said. Techno nodded and Tommy backed up a little bit so he was standing slightly behind the two older boys. He lifted his hands and waved a little bit. Tommy was nervouse of what the other boys thought of him. Was he being too awkward? Was he acting too scared?
No, he is big man Tommy and he doesn't get scared.
"Come on, let's go play on the playground!" Tubbo ran up to him and grabbed his arm and ran towards the playground. Tommy looked back at Techno and Wilbur and waved to them. He saw them laugh to each other and walk off to sit at a bench.
...
Tommy, Techno, and Wilbur were driving home after a few hours of Tommy playing. He was sitting in the back of the van and he was exhausted from running around with Ranboo and Tubbo. Tommy felt his eyes get heavy, but he refused to let them shut. He would not have one of his brot- Techno or Wilbur carry him inside.
When he thought about his day, he thought that it might be one of the best days he had had for a few years, even though it started with him having a panic attack.
Techno pulled the car into their driveway and Tommy got out. When he got into the house, he smelt food and was reminded that he hadn't eaten breakfast. He went to the dinning room and saw that Phil had made chicken and rise with a few other foods.
He sat down and ate one of the best meals ever.
...
Tommy had already gotten ready for bed. He way laying down thinking, which can be dangerous, but tonight, he was thinking happy thoughts. Maybe staying with this family wasn't so bad, maybe he could stay.
Tommy fell asleep thinking happy thoughts, feeling good about his life.
...
Well bitches, that's right, I have a new chapter for you. This one took too long to finish. I was going to publish it in June, but I had some major writers block, so it took me a little bit more time.
If you like this chapter, please vote, it makes me so happy to see that people like my story.
I hope you have a good day or night.
You are loved and valid and worth so much more than you think.
