Carmens pov:
It's been almost two months since we first arrived to the red room I've been getting my levels up, I've passed all the basic ones, and I'm officially passing one of the best Assassin in levels. There hasn't been an assassin in almost 5 years that has been crowned the best.
But I'm about to pass the best one, the one that is closes to level 12, she's on level 9 and I'm about to pass her. Her name is Heather, she has brown, dark blondish hair, brown eyes, she definitely has a pick me side to her, and clearly isn't a girls girl. Heather was taken by WCKD a few months back, and always is bragging about how her mom is going to break her out, I think it's bullshit. No one's escaped, no since Adam and the Goode brothers from the glade left this place.
I'm walking into first period and each morning to keep out interests they do this 'Hot gossip' part where they talk about the latest news that they think should be talked about, normally about the scoreboard, which is also in the main hallway.
I sit in my normal spot sitting from my two friends Vicky and Zammy.
"Привет, Кармен." *Hey, Carmen.* Zammy says, I smile to her.
"Доброе утро, Кармен." *Morning Carmen.* Vicky says, picking her head up from there conversation. I smile to her as I place my bag down.
"Доброе утро, девочки." *Morning, girls.*
I say, as I pull my chair out and sit down.
"Как вы думаете, какими будут объявления?" *What do you think the announcements are going to be like?*
A boy asks, from across the class.
"Наверное, «Теперь для ваших последних новостей Хизер собирается убить Кармен, если она поднимется дальше на подиум»." *Probably like, 'Now for your latest News, Heather is going to murder Carmen if she moves any further up the podium'*
one boy says, in a mocking way and holding a pencil as a mic. As I roll my eyes
"Затем они показывают подиум, и Хизер бежит сюда, пытаясь убить Кармен." *Then they show the podium and Heather runs in here trying to kill Carmen.*
One boy says, as we all chuckle.
"Нет, представьте, какое лицо вереск будет сталкиваться с 7 классом, когда она должна быть в 9 классе." *No, picture what heathers face would be running into a grade 7 class when she's supposed to be in 9.*
Zammy says laughing as she looks for the snacks she has in her bag.
"Тихий класс." *Quiet class.*
Mrs, James says shushing the class and turning on the speakers for the Announcements.
"Утро, агенты и убийцы-" *Morning, Agents and Assassins-*
the Morning announcements says, I tone it out by thinking about what WCKD's doing right now.
"Сегодня для последних сплетен,"*Today for the Latest gossip,*
they say as a image of the podium is.
"Ooo." The kids start howling.
