Chapter 7: Autumn (part 2)

Author's note: To everyone going to read this. Just a heads up that this chapter ha a total of 29k words. So in other words, this chapter is going to be a really long chapter to read. And another thing, sorry for how long it has been for me to update this story. Been real busy irl, school and all that. So again, my deepest apologies for the slow update. And without a further ado, enjoy the 7th Chapter "Autum (part 2)".

In the Vault, Lanz, Ozpin, Glynda, and Qrow are still seen inside and the three adults are still listening intently to Lanz's story.

Glynda: That's how you know Amber?

Lanz: Yup.

Ozpin: If you know Amber, how did you two got seperated? Judging by your story, it sounded like you two were becoming close.

Lanz: Well, if you want to know how that happened, I have to tell you the full story of what happened while I was in Yuki No Mura.

Glynda: Can't you just skip to the part where it really happened?

Qrow: Hey now, if we want to know for sure how Amber and the kid got seperated, we have to know everything about his past. So spare no detail kid.

Qrow said that last part mainly to The Vigilant Crow.

Glynda: And since when you're so interested in a story? Especially coming from a teen?

Qrow: Hey, the kid's story was honestly, and admittedly, were more interesting than mine. So I had to hear more.

Qrow said with a half joking smirk as he crosses his arms. Which causes Glynda to let out an annoyed groan as she rolled her eyes.

Lanz: So should I continue where I left of? Or what?

The three adults gave each other looks before Ozpin and Glynda sighed deeply.

Ozpin: Very well. Continue, Mr. Corvine.

Lanz: Alright. So. After the night at the bar...

After the night at the bar, Lanz is seen back in Amber's house. The Vigilant Crow is seen sleeping soundly on the swing bed. As he layed there, the rays of the sun cuts through the window and shines over Lanz's face, causing him to sneer and slowly wakes up. As he opened his eyes, he shields his vision from the light as he gets up and stretches his arms wide as he yawned.

Amber: Mornin'!

Lanz turns his head to the voice of Amber and sees her holding a tray of tea.

Amber: Tea?

Lanz: Uhm. Sure. Thanks.

Amber smiles at him brightly and grabs one tea and gives it to Lanz and grabs the other from the tray she's holding before putting the said tray away before the both of them drank their tea at the same time.

Amber: How was it?

Lanz: The tea? It's good.

Amber: I mean your body. You weren't in good shape after what happened back at the tavern last night.

Lanz: Oh. Well, strangely enough, It's getting better. And it kind of helps with the pain killers that you gave me yesterday.

Amber: Well that's good. But try not to take them too much. Alright? Too much of those and your lungs will stop, killing you eventually.

Lanz: Oh.... wow. Never thought medications could actually kill you.

Amber: Heheh. It doesn't. Unless you take them at a proper schedule and not overdose yourself too much with it....
