Shrishti's POV:

I punched the guard in his face as he staggered back. My hand reached his belt and I whipped out his gun. I held it to his chest well enough for the sound to be muffled. I shot him as he slid down on the wall of the warehouse.

I walked to the other corner and peeked. Another gaurd. I was offended to be honest. That Avyukt Singhania only had one man guarding one side of the warehouse. I didn't try to hide it this time, I shot at the man and ran over to collect his ammo. The moment I turned around a guard threw a punch at me.

I stumbled back with my eyes watering. I could still see his moves but was hard to see them clearly. He started pulling out his gun seeing the dead guard behind me. I rapidly blinked my eyes in an attempt to get the tears away. I held the lapel of his uniform and pinned him to the wall. I shoved the gun in his mouth before shooting.

I reloaded my gun and prepared myself to step into the warehouse having dealt with the guards outside. Can I really face him? Can I have the blood of my father on my hands as easily as I believe I can?

I blasted through the door of the warehouse. It was a huge warehouse. There were over a hundred guards present within, vaguely framing the insides of the warehouse. Through all that my sight pierced through them all and landed on the man at the far end of the warehouse facing his back to me.

He turned around and my heart that somewhere hoped that it was not him, died away. He stood there with his intact charm and disciplined approach. He fixed his glasses looking at me and finally looked down with a sigh of disappointment.

"I always thought it was a different Shrishti..." He spoke. That was when my anger started rising. He knew all along that a -Shrishti- was meddling in his business but he wasn't the least bit bothered to know if it was me or not.

"You want me to be considerate of that?" I questioned him taking strides bigger than my ego. His men were alert as I walked.

"Oh no, dear. The person with the monopoly over India's drug market...I would not expect you to be considerate of anything at all." Avyukt Singhania stated.

"All I need is a second to plant a bullet in your head, and yet you stand here so full of yourself."

"Well, dear...I don't see why you are fighting against the cause that created you!" He took a step closer to me while having his hands stuffed in his pocket. "You really thought you were the one who had the industry under control but did you really think of who would have been in that throne before you?"

"I didn-"

"You would not be here if it wasn't for me. Me as in the -druglord- me, and me as in -your father- me. I created what you are today Shrishti...why would you want to fight against me?"

"So you expect me to join hands with you and make you a bigger druggie?"

"Atleast now you see a bigger side of the picture..."

I scoffed, "You can't be more wrong of you think I'm here because you are going to take over the market." I cocked my gun and took a few steps back, "I'm here because you killed my parents."

Avyukt seemed taken aback. Did he really not expect me to know of that?

"You see, your parents were exposed to power they could only dream of. The power they can't handle. Moreover, that power was mine...and I'd kill a hundred more to keep it as such."

Blood was running cold in me. Just a bullet to shut that mouth of his but a hundred bullets of his men would shut me up too.

"Do you realise, Shrishti...that you are a morally grey person. You do bad, you do good. You do too much bad to be a good person and too much good to be a bad person...but me," He took his glasses off, "All my morals are stained in a shade of black that is darker than the abyss. If I have to kill you or my son to keep this power as mine, I wouldn't bat an eye."
