First Kiss... Oops

Kara and Lena are sitting on the couch when Alex calls with a Super emergency,

"What's going on?"

"We are getting reports of a pyrokinetic alien on a rampage down by the docks."

"Wait no, Alex. It's not Sa'Hana'Ka again, is it?"

"I don't know it might be."

"Can't you just send a team? This is the fourth time I've been called to stop her and I'm pretty sure she's only doing it so she can flirt with me."

"Kara you are clueless when someone is flirting with you."

"Alex I might be oblivious about flirting but even I can see this. The first time I went she yelled something about her dad and then started telling me everything she wanted to do to me in bed."

Alex starts laughing, "She totally called you daddy didn't she?"

"I'm not her dad!" Kara argues, "Anyways, I talked to her and gave her a warning and then let her go. Three weeks later I got called again, and she had a list of what she wanted me to do to her."

*laughing alex*

"Stop laughing. I had to bring her in since it was the second time and she kept moaning while I put the cuffs on and gave her to NCPD."

"Oh my god do you think they have dash cam footage? I'll have Winn hack NCPD." Alex laughs, "You have to go she's an alien."

"She hasn't hurt anyone. And the last time I went I had to carry her to the DEO. She licked my neck and then sucked as hard as she could. Send a team."

"That's hilarious. What did you even do?"

"I stopped and knocked her out. What else was I supposed to do?"

"Who needs reality tv when I have you. Tell you what, you go stop her so things don't escalate since she obviously wants to see you and the team will meet you there so you can leave right away."

"Fine but you so owe me for this Alex."

"Yeah, yeah, potstickers at sister night. Go get her Supergirl."

"On my way." Kara sighs hanging up the phone and turning to a stiff and silent Lena, "I have to go but I'll be back as soon as I can."

Kara gets up and super speeds into her room to change into her suit before coming back out and stopping next to Lena, "Okay, I'll be back princess." Kara leans down without thinking and softly connects their lips. Lena automatically melts into it, a soft happy sigh leaving her lips when Kara pulls away. While Lena's (slow due to pregnancy) brain hasn't quite processed what happened yet, Kara leans down and presses a kiss to the little ones and flies out the window in a daze because shit, she just kissed Lena. She wants to fly back in and talk about it but she doesn't really know what to say without telling the woman that she's in love with her, so she does her best to shake it off and flies toward the fire.

When Lena finally snaps out of her Kara induced haze her fingers come up to her lips. Did Kara just... kiss her? And not just any kiss, it was a goodbye kiss and it felt so natural, but it doesn't matter because Kara just KISSED her and left. Lena feels a little dizzy as she replays it in her head, over and over. Kara's lips are so soft and fuck, she's never going to get that memory out of her head.

Kara shows up at the scene still a little off balance. She lands and completely misses the alien flirting with her upon arrival. Actually, if asked to recall what happened, all she'd be able to say is that she kissed Lena. Nothing else registers as she hands the alien over to the DEO team. Just as she's about to head home, back to Lena, there's a loud boom from downtown. Anger surges through her at the disturbance, surprising her. All she wants to do is go home. She needs to talk to Lena before the woman over thinks everything and starts panicking.
