Kara was in her apartment getting ready for game night when she heard a knock on the door. She checked the door with her x-ray vision as she walked to the door. Of course it was Lena. Kara told Lena she was Supergirl last week and this was going to be her first game night knowing everything.

"Hey! Your early."

"Yeah I wanted to talk before everyone else got here."

"Okay? About what?" Kara asked growing concerned

"Nothing bad I promise." She said seeing Kara's face. "I uh just wanted to uh talk about uh the Supergirl thing." She continues, her cheeks getting warm from embarrassment.

Kara chuckles, "Is there anything specific you want to know?"

"Your powers. What all are they? The same as Superman? Superman is your cousin right? Who is he? He came as a baby, did you? Where was Krypton? Ho-"

"Lena. Calm down. My powers are the same as Superman; flying obviously, super strength, freeze breath, heat vision and x-ray vision."

Lena subconsciously covered her chest at x-ray and Kara caught it.

"Don't worry, I don't use it like that."
Lena blushes at Kara's words as she leads her to the window.

"Uh the rest of the questions, yes Superman is my cousin but his identity is his to tell. I was 13 when Krypton was destroyed and it was right.. there."

Kara says pointing up to where Krypton was smiling while tears roll down her face. Lena looked to where Kara was pointing before looking back at the girl and seeing her tears.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you." Lena frantically apologizes drawing another chuckle from Kara.

"It's okay, I'm okay." Kara assures her and looks back at the sky, "it's just that I still have memories from Krypton. I love it here don't get me wrong but sometimes I miss it there. I miss my parents." Kara said finally looking at Lena

"Is it okay if I ask what they were like? Your parents I mean." Lena asked carefully watching Kara's face for discomfort or anger.

Instead Kara smiled and took her to the couch to sit down.

"My Mom was kinda like a judge. She would come home and tell me about the aliens she sent away to keep everyone safe. My dad was one of Kryptons top scientists. He hated people in his lab because he did everything a certain way but he always let me come help him when I asked," Kara smiled sadly, "I was the only person allowed even inside much less to help. I asked him about it one time and he said, 'Your mind is brilliant. You understand more of our advanced science than most of the men I work with.' Then he would wink and say, 'it doesn't hurt that you are just like me and you know where everything goes.' I think he would have loved to meet you. He probably would've tried to teach you everything he knew." Kara smiled turning to Lena who's jaw was slack and she was staring at Kara in awe.

"Lena are you okay?"

"I'm sorry let me get this straight. You, Kara Danvers, are as smart as some of the top scientists of another more advanced planet and your sitting here as a reporter?!?" Lena asked.

"Ahh well actually I was born Kara Zor-El, uhh and yeah I uhh I guess?" Kara responded as more of a question. "When I got here I just wanted to fit in. I got through science by pretending to not know stuff so I didn't raise any flags. I really like science though so I'd make it a game with whatever I got wrong. After that I just kinda followed my cousins lead and went to the media."

"First off, Superman is in the media?! And second, are you telling me that every time I talk to you about what I'm doing and try to dumb it down, you know exactly what I'm talking about?"
